I just realized that this video and the comments are from 3 years ago, but if you are still looking for SNES songs for that album (in reference to your response to Lawlivita), might I recommend the game "Metal Warriors." The songs have a real pulse-pounding excitement not usually found in most SNES games, and I personally believe that they would sound fantastic in your style of 8-bit. Plus, who doesn't love giant robots, seeing how you are one yourself?
