    I did the same thing with the mondeo 2001 vp44. Soldering went well, it is also good after checking. However, all resistance values ​​remain the same as with the old, theoretically defective transistor. I did not check points A6 and 7 beforehand. After work, I read that brain death can be determined this way. Well, instead of 2.5-4.5 kohms, the value is 98 ohms... What else needs to be improved?

    Hi did you use high temp solder? if you didnt did it hold up to the heat thanks

    2905 is not suitable ,use 3110

      @@bluedeckelectronics On the connecting cable that connects to the psg5. I measured the resistance of points six and seven. gnd and the + pin.

      @@bluedeckelectronics Ford mondeo vp44, psg5. My error codes that appeared after the engine stopped: p0100, P1564, P1664, p1608, p0335, p1246.
