You know, I actually love how ruthless Connor can be. People generally have this idea that he’s this “sweet cinnamon roll” but DAMN he can be cold as fuck. Personally I find it fascinating. He’s a psychopath. His ability to manipulate emotions and adopt such a convincing display of feeling while remaining totally unmoved by these poor deviants’ plight is chilling yet imo makes him a more compelling and well-rounded character. I love his complete lack of facial expression when he’s talking to Simon and the broadcasting android. He sounds so reassuring and warm and yet his eyes are totally blank. And then the CREEPY smile while he’s holding up the Traci’s head... SO GOOD! A stellar job there, Bryan.

I found out that deviants are distorted (based on sight, memory and common sense) slightly if they are found earlier But if you recently capture/kill a deviant They will be very distorted Daniel - He fully recognizes you and remembers the first mission Traci - she can barely see and can be easily fooled but can remember important things (her lover) Simon/Broadcast deviant - they can't see anything and have troubles remembering important things (like how they think the leader of Jericho needs to know where Jericho lol)
There is other way to find Jericho that doesn't require waking up androids at all. First, you have to make Ortiz's android trust you during the interrogation AND capture Simon and connect to his memory. That'll give you two clues: the Ferndale map inside the statue and a picture of Jericho from Simon's memories. Find the map, scan the fragment, and, as Connor puts it, BINGO! Jericho is found and you haven't even layed a finger on a single android.
Uh... I've just noticed this, but when you act as Markus to try and convince Simon, he doesn't seem to notice that this is Markus that is asking for the location of Jericho. Simon and Markus met in the Jericho, So apparently Simon wasn't very logical during this scene. It's okay if I'm wrong, though. Anyone may give me a correction if they'd like to.
Simon got shot in the head. I assume that not only his eyes got damaged, but some connections in his head got damaged, which may caused him to lose memory or to lose part of his logical thinking.
The sad thing about this is that Some of the deviants would think that markus betrayed and left them to die and would probably hold a grudge against him....

He is both a detective and a ruthless pursuer, as a machine. Like a comment said, if he wants to achieve a goal or complete a mission, he WILL achieve it, it's just one button tap away by you, the player. It's not cold hearted much in a way, but to reach conclusion by all means necessary, even if morally questionable.
I think it's not always possible for one android to find the specific thing he's looking for in another android's memory, unless the android he's connected to is willing to show him.

It's not like Rupert has a choice. Remember that Connor can just directly probe someone's memory if he's forceful enough, so Rupert probably wants to say no and please don't, but his badly damaged state along with immobility basically forces him to comply.

@@daydreams6956 if you choose confrontation route (more like violent way) in the Stratford tower Simon gets left behind (if that happens don't go to the roof he won't be found) and if you choose demonstration route (more like peaceful way) he won't be left behind (he jumps off the roof with Markus alongside Josh and north with parachutes)

I found out that deviants are distorted (based on sight, memory and common sense) slightly if they are found earlier
But if you recently capture/kill a deviant
They will be very distorted
Daniel - He fully recognizes you and remembers the first mission
Traci - she can barely see and can be easily fooled but can remember important things (her lover)
Simon/Broadcast deviant - they can't see anything and have troubles remembering important things (like how they think the leader of Jericho needs to know where Jericho lol)
Or how Robert is unable to speak
Scene with Simon and Traci is so brutal. I feel sorry for them.

There is other way to find Jericho that doesn't require waking up androids at all.
First, you have to make Ortiz's android trust you during the interrogation AND capture Simon and connect to his memory. That'll give you two clues: the Ferndale map inside the statue and a picture of Jericho from Simon's memories.
Find the map, scan the fragment, and, as Connor puts it, BINGO! Jericho is found and you haven't even layed a finger on a single android.
Uh... I've just noticed this, but when you act as Markus to try and convince Simon, he doesn't seem to notice that this is Markus that is asking for the location of Jericho.
Simon and Markus met in the Jericho, So apparently Simon wasn't very logical during this scene.
It's okay if I'm wrong, though. Anyone may give me a correction if they'd like to.

Simon got shot in the head. I assume that not only his eyes got damaged, but some connections in his head got damaged, which may caused him to lose memory or to lose part of his logical thinking.
Ik this is almost unrelated but simons lines were also recycled.
Connor says that every time he is destroyed he loses some memory, so that may have been the case with Simon

Like a comment said, if he wants to achieve a goal or complete a mission, he WILL achieve it, it's just one button tap away by you, the player. It's not cold hearted much in a way, but to reach conclusion by all means necessary, even if morally questionable.
