- After owning the arrma mojave groms, I decided to buy a 1/7 scale version. never owned one, never ran one, was never interested because I own Losi Five-T's.
Change of heart with the groms and went looking for a used mojave to custom build. Found one on offerup and the rest is history...
Replaced more than I intended but still cheaper than buying everything brand new separately. Its a lot of pieces with price tags.. lol

Get the center braces as well in red & Integy RC has a bunch of anodized parts & hardware.

Thats a beautiful truck. I did a similar rebuild with a Losi 5T. I have ADD (no formal DX) I would have been returned that light .LOL

You will once u run it it's going in the dirt and gravel that's where it shines the best just gotta clean it after the run.
That was a good deal imo . I use the same silicone lubricant . Chassis sticker or spray for the bottom of the chassis . I think M2c has the rear chassis brace skid plate in stock
I have a rear chassis brace, just didnt show it in the vid, I forgot. but yeah , I may do a vinyl wrap at the bottom. I have a roll of clear bra for cars I can apply on it.

I love customizing my cars the same way you do. I had no interest in the Mojave until I saw one in person, and drove it. Now I have 3 of them lol. Your build is straight fire!
I feel the same way bro.. the groms broaden my horizon, never cared for a mohave.. lmao.. may build a widebody with chassis I have left.. idk.. we will see, may end up with two.. lol ...thank for watching...
@@MrMeDos I got the Grom, the 4s, and I made my own 6s EXB like you did. I went all in with those builds. I changed so many parts in my Mojave's I really had to tune, and configure things to get it right. Once you do that, it will drive like a machine. My 4s has so much power, and speed I have to put a Gyro in it lol.
nice. what power system you have in the exb? I havent seen any vids with someone running a 1250kv on 6s or 8s and what gearing they use.
@@MrMeDos I used a Mamba Monster X 8s with a 1717-1650kv motor. I geared it up, but I cant remember the combination I used. I have a lot of cars now so the memory is fading lol. I blew the center diff riding a wheelie, but I don't think they had it filled up. I replaced that, and it is a pure beast.

thanks, wasnt my intentions to replace so much, but as things began to strip and stuff damaged beyond my liking, I said why not replace it, you feel me. I did the same thing with my losi 5T its all billet

Used is often the way to go, there's a lot of RCs out there that have only been used a couple of times & are just sitting in people's garageș.!
I actually found a Max 6 ESC that had only been used 3 times, it was in the original packaging & still smelled of new plastic... new they're £150/$190, I only paid £70/$80.!👌 👌

lol I know, wasn't my intentions. stripped bolts and replacing damaged pieces resulting in what I did.. I just said if I gota replace it, might as well go billet. My attentions was to build up to mirror the kraton exb v2. but....stripped screws chose my fate.
An expensive upgraded MOJAVE 6S. Believe me, however, give me the stock version. To me, THAT'S the Mojave I love. 😊 That thing is so upgraded, it's not the trusty ARRMA MOJAVE 6S any longer. Lol. But if you have money to burn, why not?
7075 chassis same as exb, shock towers and bulkheads same as kraton exb, center braces, top plates same as mohave exb, true upgrade is electronics and gearing. Its the same mohave just better in the right places. Lol. They dont make’em you gotta build’em..

Being kid (was born in 1980) I was drooling as fuck on all the crazy sneakers of our era but I had only one pair of noname shoes by year (certainly Chinese stuff now I’m thinking…) and I had to wait years and years to have my first « real brand » pairs…
Then we all had to satisfy what we didn’t have I think……!!
I’m glad I succeeded to step out that craziness buying cause the amount of money was MAD
It’s been almost 10 years now I didn’t buy a pair, I’m still rockin brand new pairs from my collection 🤣
Of course I copped double too on my big crushes…

It's FLAWLESS but WHY buy a Mojave roller. Any plastics are cheap jennysrc. Everything is new
Add up the parts i didnt replace, to buy brand new is over $400. Still cheaper this route than to buy a brand new mojave and do this or buy all new parts to build it from scratch. From screws, to pins, bearings, all plastic pieces , diffs with spider gears, axles, drive shaft, diff cups, shock mounts,center brace, brace ends,etc all la carte is expensive. Add it up lol you will see. 🤣🤣🤣
