Netherland's performance was amazing, they played so fast and they deserve it. I was there as a Hungarian fan at the match, but Hungary was so terrible :((

For most sports fans in the NL handball is hardly on the radar, including this sensational victory. Football rules supreme as team sport, followed at some distance by field hockey (in which the Dutch are usually medal contestants), all the other team sports trailing far behind, despite successes like volleyball Olympic gold 1996 and baseball WC 2011. Even the Dutch handball ladies becoming world champion in 2019 didn't really change that, but that demonstrated to the men that they can also break into the top echelon, why not?
