Join me as I sew the Tania Culottes for the Sew My Style challenge for the month of January.
I chose the fabric at Joann Fabrics that’s silky that is sturdy but with a lot of drape.
Part I consists of preparing our pattern, cutting out the fabric and setting up our sewing machine.
In Part II we will begin sewing the pockets, pleats, crotch curve and the right side seam.
We will finish up the culottes in Part III.

I really like watching your entire process. I need a model to follow, and you’re providing a good one so far! Thanks.

    Good day,
Thank you for your effort and time.
I heard that circle skirts are much nicer if one cuts on the bias grain, do you agree.
I just bought the pattern and I can't decide, I really hope to get an advice from you.
Another question: it is written that you cut each part separately, which is for me as a beginner not clear why!
Thank you in advance for your reply and help.
    Best wishes.

Your fabric is lovely. Just wondering, are the finished garment measurements for the waist and hips given on any of the pattern pieces (like the big four pattern companies do) so the ease can be determined?

M Shrade yes very similar. It’s a circular skirt so I’m only focusing on the waist measurement.
