These are all the countries in the world where TikTok is banned. Only in Europe, 10 countries in total prohibited TikTok for any national governmental devices, together with the USA, Canada, Taiwan, Australia, and New Zealand. However, in Asia there are many countries where TikTok is banned for everyone. Among those are China, India, Nepal, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Iran, Syria and Jordan. Lastly in Africa, we add Somalia. All of these countries have a total or partial ban on TikTok.

It also doesn’t work in Russia since March 2022. Technically it isn’t banned and you can still watch videos, but you can only watch videos uploaded by Russian users and you can’t upload new ones.

In China, yes the international TikTok we created that’s commonly used in the West (Like the United States) is banned. But we have our own Chinese Tiktok too. It’s called 抖音 （Dǒu yīn). So we have two Tiktok’s created, one is international and one is the Chinese one we use. So we use our own Chinese Tiktok.
