Reuploaded due to some issues in the previous. This is a very special video for me and marks an inflection point in my life and work. Hope you all get some insights and inspiration from this 🙏
the claim that professional designers in companies sits and design 7-12hrs/day is ludacris and false. As it is with developers, if you are lucky you get to properly sit down and design for maybe 4 hrs a day..MAYBE!!! The majority of time is spent on meetings, research, evaluations, meetings, discussions, meetings, navigating office politics, did i say meetings? I think ypu might be refering to what you should be doing while learning and that i misunderstood what you were saying..anyways..Good video and insight for those curious about the field for sure, but..yeah, some claims are way off , hehe 😁 have a good one 👍
Hi Sir, I have a Master's degree in Psychology but I'm looking for a career change and was hoping to transition into the UX design industry. But recently, the evolving use of AI has left me worried and I'm afraid to make this transition. What would you suggest? Your insights will be really helpful.
Would definitely suggest watching the whole video - I think the second half (T, C, P) will answer your question. If you’re willing to put in the work to cultivate those, then it’s a great choice for you!
Nope you don't. Certificates don't matter, it's more of the experience or network that it represents. The reason to go for a college or a program is to make connections, have a routine, accountability from mentors etc. If you can do all of that without it, then good. However if you're not in a major tech city like SF/BLR or creative circles in NY/MUM/DEL or good at building an online presence, can be quite difficult to break out. The reason we started the 10kdesigners cohort is exactly for the reasons above. Nine cohorts in and going great! Wins here: 10kdesigners.com/wins
Hello sir , I just passed my 12 standard with science stream but now i switched form science to design and i pursued b.des UX design which is 4 year ug course , i am on right path or not ?
Nice! My suggestion would be work on your portfolio with the kinds of projects you want to do in job, even if they are not covered in class. Which college btw?
Hello gurujii I am 12th passout and I need your help right now i am in a situation where i have to choose between collage(engineering) or ui/ux .what should i do if i am not choosing collage because i have been doing ui/ux from last 1 year and i dont trust design schools ro waste my time there ,so what can i do now please reply gurujii🙏
bro you can do UI UX along with your engineering college as well. UI UX jobs are saturated, there are so many designers already. And most important part is, you won't get a good salary after sometime. Engineers have really good packages, not all them but there is a scope. In UI UX, it is very hard to go beyond 20LPA in India ( Most designers don't even earn this much).
Your choice which career you want to go for - most of your learning will anyway happen via self learning, practice & projects. The video has your answer (T, C, P), watch the full thing But for the college decision, go wherever you can find the best network. Don’t just join a random college that you’ll hate, go live in a good city
Same situation is with me But I love graphic design and I don't want to do engineering therefore I pursued b.des in UX/UI can I go for UX design career .
Hello sir myself suman, recently i complete my BCA degree under MAKAUT UNIVERSITY, but i have not Much interest in coding so i think i switch to ui& ux design, its a good decision or not, and i completed my BCA degree that's why i not joined to the college because its a another degree so i joined in to a institute its a right choice, and i think join to KOLKATA MAAC CHOWRNGEE , please say it's good decesion or not, please help me i am fully tensed. Or suggest a best institute for west bengal kolkata site please say bhaiya🙏🙏
Join whatever you want, but the self learning and working on projects you will have to do yourself. I have no idea about maac, but like most physical coaching centres, they will teach you only the tools. Don’t be tensed brother, it will instil fear and stop you from being creative & figuring things out.
Sirr, my budget is 70 to 80k, I have to take laptop or macbook for UI UX design and animation, please tell me which laptop or Macbook should I buy or its name please tell me. ❤️
Sir, im software developer working in banglore wfh from 2yrs Im bit scared due to uncertainties in market due to layoffs...I was planning to learn UI/UX tools to add on my skills but still it seems AI will replace that as well ...not sure what path i should take from here...Im reactjs dev
