This new version is a bit more complicated to use but being able to set wind speed and direction (under ‘environment’ not ‘wind’ which is turbulence) is really great.
I just love the Alpine field; reminds me so much of the Bitterroot Mountains of Western Montana where I grew up.
The soccer field is a wonderful exercise for me; I tend to range a bit too far in my Apprentice STOL 700 but I can save a lot of miles on my car by flying in a couple of soccer fields in walking distance of my house - just need to sharpen my skills a bit more.

I have two versions of Real Flight and the more recent version I purchased for it's VR capability. However, the Oculus Rift doesn't support the resolution to be able to clearly see the aircraft (flown externally). I would like to see the Quest 3 used to achieve the same purpose.
Can i use the real flight software with a FUTABA T6EX transmitter, and can i use this software without use of the internet
What's the difference between this and the real flight evolution? I'm missing something. I have everything evolution has to offer what does this have that evolution doesn't?
Its pretty much Evolution with just trainer aircraft and overall less content. It is cheaper and will/is coming with some newer trainer models as well.

I currently have the real flight 6.5 version and I am running it on a new laptop with the NVIDA GEFORCE RTX graphics card, window 11 and intel core i5. I can select all the airplanes with out any issues and fly them. The problem I am having is that I cannot select any of the helicopters, get an error message, then it freezes and finally kicks me out of real flight. Any tips to correct this problem.

Are the springs of the Transmitter gimbal now softer?
The other transmitter had painfully hard springs.
You can adjust the tension of the springs on the InterLink DX controller, but yes, the SLT6 transmitter has less tension as standard.
I don't quite understand a beginner version of real flight makes any sense to me because it just looks like an extra version of real flight evolution with the ability to unlock pay cont. in my opinion, I don't see the point of it unless it is cheaper for people to get into the hobby
The entire point is because it costs considerably less than Evolution while still being the best tool new pilots can use to learn to fly! Then they can upgrade to Evolution at a discounted price any time.
