We were staying at the Chalet Inn in Gatlinburg and we were all hanging out around the pool with another couple we met talking about wanting to see a bear. Then, another lady yelled over the balcony that there was a bear on top a car, so we grabbed our phones and took off to get video. Once we made it to the car, we realized it belonged to the other couple we were hanging out with. They called the police and game warden and got things taken care of. Supposedly this bear has been around and they are going to trap it and relocate it.

If somebody says they should get a gun doesn't mean they're gonna kill the animal if you know anything about scaring animals away you would know this 🙄

Ppl are not scared of black bears cause they small but they are incredibly strong
They aren’t always small, plenty are over 500 pounds, most 300+ and some are as big as over 800 with a few being 900.
But yes this video is a good demonstration that even a 120 pound bear is several times stronger than even a 200-300lb person.
We take their land and turn it into concrete. Then we chase them off when they can no longer hunt. It’s just so sad. They had to learn to break into cars instead of hunting the natural way. They have no food.

Exactly why we get insurance lol. I hope the bear is OK. I'm glad nobody got hurt, animal or human. It's sad to see when wildlife and civilization collide sometimes. This was all their home and really still should be.

Humans are actually part of nature too. The difference is that we have built structures and objects to protect us from things like bears. If we hadn’t done that we’d still have bear run-ins but they’d be attacking us.

Hey dude, I’m from East Tennessee. We were just in Gatlinburg for a week, came home on the 10th. My husband saw this first and showed it to me. He had not read the description of the loca where it was recorded. I told him you sound like a Tennessean. He doubts me. Where are you from?

Scary behavior. I don't live among the bears but that doesn't seem normal behaviour? 😮
Actually it's very normal since we have taken over there homes and cut off normal food supplies.
I actually seen videos where bears are breaking in to vehicles because people love food in their car at places like Yosemite 😯
@@queenpinkysfamily1618 you’re forgetting that humans are part of nature too. If we lived in huts made of sticks and moss in the woods like we did hundreds of years ago we would still have encounters that would not end as well for us. I know it feels so noble to say that we humans are awful and bad for taking their land but if the whole was meant to be for the animals where are humans supposed to live? And why aren’t you giving up your home do it can be leveled and restored to natural habitat?
@@Jkur2009 I don't have land with a house on it I live on a boat 1/2 the year and a mobile home the other half so I haven't taken any land from the animals but nice try 😂 humans are a disease on the planet and animals deserve better than to fight us just to get food because humans don't just take what's need but destroy everything in our way.
