I’d definitely invest in a new mic! And maybe get a cool background based off of AOS for viewers! I think it’ll effect growth good! Especially if it’s something other than white, maybe even just a black background! Great video!
As a person that is just getting into the hobby and is starting with Sylvaneth, I feel pretty good about the stuff I have picked up now as its not to far off what you suggested (was yet to decided on how many wildwoods to buy so it looks like 3 packs should be enough).
Very nice. I'm starting a Path to Glory campaign soon and have started with a Tree Lord Ancient, kitbashed branchwraith, 10 dryads and 5 Tree revenants. Then I'll probably add the war song revenant and another start collecting box for summoned dryads and Durthu
I will never stop mentioning this, but the Warcry Souldrain Forrest box contains 2 full Wyldwood kits, half of an Ancient Ruins scenery box and some Warcry thingies (some cards and whatnot) for the price of two Wyldwood kits. If you are in the market for Wyldwoods and you see a Souldrain forrest its a good deal.
Living city lists with sylvaneth could be a good video. I play l duardin (or convercions of human an aelf units to duardin) and I thi k that LC can be great with irondrakes/hurricanum combo. I am just wondering what sylvaneth could be good in LC. I know Durthu is great because he can come from the side, shoot and move to the enemy. What others sylvaneth would you use in LC? Especially duardin heavy LC?
Do you still recommend starting with two start collecting boxes vs a vanguard box or echoes of doom? I have the wyldwoods from Souldrain Forest box assembled and want to dip my toes into small Sylvaneth force to start. Cheers!
This video was uploaded before the new battletome, the branchwraith is now legends, and the Sylvaneth start collecting box has been replaced by the vanguard box
Would getting one of each Arch Revenant, tree revenants, and Kurnoth hunters be acceptable for just getting into the game- but with having no plans to reach 2000 points? These 3 units would be playing against other start collecting boxes.
I definitely think those could work, if you are playing at 500 pts or below. I would consider getting some dryads though to screen and be bodies. If you are playing against other start collecting boxes though you might run into trouble with some boxes having more points that others. Or some boxes having some really high end units that you might have trouble dealing with
@@WargroveofWoe True I never thought of the start collecting boxes all having different point values. Regardless, we are total noobs and it would still be fun. I might just get the start collecting, which is $76 on Amazon right now and get one unit of kurnoth hunters. Thank you for the video and input!
Bought my wife for giggles sylvaneth as flower's for valentines and birthdays. Turns out she's a much better and more patient painter.😅✌

Good to hear!

Fun fact the main reason I'm getting into this army is that I love the main model of the army.

I'm also starting a Living Cities wood elf army, and it would be good to know how to properly use Sylvaneth in Living Cities army
Is it better to start with battleforce + vanguard now?
Yes

So with the new book I’d recommend the vanguard box and echoes of doom.
Would you be willing to cover the spell lore for OBR? Or a how would you build an OBR army?
I will cover some example OBR armies soon!
I thought they removed Branchwraith, it’s not in the new battletome

Probably aware already - but you Cannot use the "Vesperal gem" to cast Wyldwood spell - that spell isn't from the lore of the deepwood technically
