As a Lithuanian, I'm glad you liked the country, great video!
Thanks for watching!! We really enjoyed Vilnius. Hopefully we can return and see more of Lithuania some day!
I went to Vilnius in 2013 it was nice and clean and really cheap at the time also lovely people and cultures , nice vlog max once more , brilliant to watch
Thank you so much for watching, we are so glad you enjoyed it! We couldn't agree more, it is a really pleasant city that is very affordable, full of incredible architecture, and everyone is really welcoming!
It’s still nice and clean but not that cheap anymore :)
Great video, looks like a great place to visit in summer! Love all the colours and beautiful churches.
Thanks for watching! We definitely want to return in the summer, it’s probably so lovely!
I think out of the three Baltic capitals Vilnius suffers the most in terms of its looks during the colder months. I like Tallinn the best in the colder months, but Vilnius really takes the cake in the summertime.
We definitely want to come back and see all 3 of them when it is warmer!
Trakai is also very good in the summer.
Great vid! And looks a beautiful city/country. So many gems in Europe
Definitely! Vilnius may not be high on the list for visitors to Europe, but it is an absolute gem! Thanks for watching 👍
The cold smoked meats and fish are something you may have missed?
Great review, great country 🙂
Thank you so much for watching!
Superb video. Going to Vilnius this summer and really looking forward to explore the city.
So glad you enjoyed the video! Hope you have an awesome time in Vilnius. It is probably a completely different experience in the summer months!
Labas bičiuli! I hope you had good time in Lithuania :)
Thank you so much! We had so much fun visiting, and we hope to be back again! 🇱🇹❤️
Nice vid! Its very interesting to see how foreigners see the places i take for granted
Wow, that's a really cool observation! It is all so new to us, we really enjoyed taking it all in! Thanks for watching 😊
Great channel! The annual Tallinn Christmas market is absolutely magical! Especially on a snowy day and evening!
Thank you for watching! That sounds amazing, we really want to come back to the Baltics around Christmas time!
Bye in Lithuanian is "Viso gero"
wow, I am in Kaunas Nice to meet you :)
Thanks for watching! Hope to visit Kaunas some day!
Best Bagel Review ive ever seen
Lithuania is not a very religious country. Statisticly yes, most people are religous, but they don't really care about religion much at all. Going to church to make grandma happy pretty much.
Jewish people were not deported, but killed in Vilnius.
Thank you so much for the info! We really appreciate you watching! 😁
Correction killed all over Lithuania, not just Vilnius
@@natalia18233 *Correction: nazis eliminated jews in whole occupied territory, and Lithuania (part of nazi so-called Ostland) is not exception.
@@dariussutkus8401 right, but the highest percentage 97 % was in Lithuania, with Kaunas highest per capita
@@natalia18233 there is a lie, big lie and statistics, as you maybe know. Lithuania had biggest percentage of jewish population.
The colour of the Church of St. Catherine is called Gold of Pompeii.
Wow, really?? That's so fascinating! It was so striking, we couldn't believe it!
Hello ,my friends❤❤Zelensky is getting rid of the old government and people, pushing against the Russian people and moving was. ready and brought from the West tanks before the war and a sign of evil against Russia. West makes money on war and Ros.sia gets rid of Russian people. During the coronavirus there was no spoils and lack of love, though politicians and authorities influence the war, it is necessary to make protests and not to go to war. Everything leads to new technologies and getting rid of people and they do not need us.Good luck in the family and prosperity.
We're fellow Wisconsinites based in Europe! It's been fantastic following all your travels, and we can't wait to see what cold destination you're off to next! Maybe our paths will cross sometime during our travels!
What, no way!! Where are you from in Wisconsin? We are so jealous that you are based in Europe now, that's the dream life! We appreciate you watching, we have so many new videos in the works 😁
@@MaxandSidney We grew up in Waukesha but lived in Milwaukee before moving abroad! Where are you from? We can’t wait for the new videos! So glad we found your channel!!
Thanks, good presentation.
So glad you liked it! We appreciate you watching! We had so much fun in Vilnius, it would be fun to come back and see more of Lithuania someday!
Open face is the only way! Vilnius looks like a great place to visit...maybe when it's a bit warmer. Looking forward to the next video!
It definitely was! We got used to the cold, but it definitely seems like it would be fantastic in the summer!
I think you haven't seen one of the most beautiful churches in Vilnius, the Church of Saint Anne
Oh my gosh, just looked it up. We have to come back to see that, so stunning!
mike tyson like it raw😄😄😄 you don't come close to his level😁
One of the best fried bread places all tho is a bit comertial nowadays, but still very good is HBH close to Palanga otherwise known as "Juozas bar" if you're ever there i a irealy suggest you go since its summer, also if you're already there i highly suggest Nida and its dunes (summer time tho).
Loving the travel videos
Thanks for watching! 😊
Vilnius is great, but to be fair, One thing that I noticed while traveling is that, the second biggest city in the country is often worth taking a good look, because it has a lot of things that Capitals simply doesn't have (Vilnius and Kaunas, Warsaw and Krakow, for example). I would recommend visiting Kaunas too while in Lithuania if you ever go back.
Thanks for the suggestion! We definitely wished we had time to hop over to Kaunas, even for a day. We will definitely try to get there next time!
and what would you recommend to see in Kaunas?
Trakai too
Pig's ear is also a snack in Latvia. Very tasty 😊
Kaunas ❤❤❤Latvia
thank you
Great video as always!
How would y’all compare the 3 Baltic capitals? Which you enjoyed the most? And how’d you compare the vibe in each of the Baltic country/capital?
Wondering about your impressions
Thanks for watching, so glad you enjoyed it!
They are hard to rank because they all are quite different! I think we enjoyed the old town of Tallinn the most, it is definitely the most well-preserved and the architecture is simply stunning. But with that said, all 3 have amazing architecture.
I think we liked the food in Vilnius the most, it was very unique and a lot of things we have never tried. The beetroot soup and the fried bread in particular.
Riga definitely has one of the coolest market halls, not just in the baltics, but all of Europe!
I guess if we had to pick one, it would be Tallinn, but if you have the chance to visit all 3, we would highly recommend all of them!
@@MaxandSidney Ah, damn! Out expensive causin wins again! >
the one unique thing about Vilnius is that there was never any city plan, it was just random, something you don't see in other medieval cities around Europe
What a great trip! ❤
Thanks for watching!
@@MaxandSidney and a funny video. Wow pig ear such a stange meal. This beer looks really delicious.
Pig ear is the best food 😋
The flavor was really nice! I would have to get used to the texture 😅 but definitely glad I tried it!
Lithuania have allmos the best beer in the world ;)
Yes!! We really enjoyed it!
❤
Just found out of y’all through your Tallinn video. But I really enjoyed the videos. New sub here 👍
Welcome to the channel, we are so happy to have you along for the ride! Lots of new videos on the way 👍
@@MaxandSidneyLooking forward to them!
...agree about fried bread. /And Saltibarsciai, of course
❤Aciu
St.Cathy used to be pastel pink and peach, really beautiful. Hope that bright brick-red wears off at some point!
When was this filmed? Late August in Lithuania can be chilly but not winter coats chilly :)
Yes exactly 😅 this was filmed in late November 2022. I am sure August is much nicer!
Yo i know a realy good bakery near the cathedral its near a restaraunt with a stair fountain with an undergroudparkinglot
What is it called? We will add it to the list if we ever go back!
Thanks for the video. Some historical mistakes but the vibe is good.
Thanks for watching!
Bro in the war against Russia I think people in Lithuanian they ate jello with pigs feet in it
Aww you guys made it my country! Tell sidney- Hi! It is time to go back to work lol … just kidding. I would rather travel than work too :)
Hi Stase! 👋🏻 We really loved Vilnius, hopefully we can get back to Lithuania some day to see more of the country! Hope you are doing well 😊
Who elses parents eat pig ears all the time💀 like they eat it at dinner, watching shows, outside, in the car, like oml
When i was little i used to like pig's ear but now the cartilige just pisses me off. Ig i grew out of it
I wouldn't say Lithuania is very a religious country. I would label Poland as a very religiuos place.
Lithuanians just go to church from time to time and religion doesn’t dictate the laws.
And Lithuanians really love their pagan celebrations.
Very religious? As per all surveys and world stats dated anytime 2005-2020 our highest percentage of people who defined themselves as religious or that noted religion as important factor in their lives was 42%. Majority of us can define that they belong to catholic church only because we get baptised as babies, but for most of us it's the only time we find ourselves in a religious ceremony other than funeral.
I need a work permit visa. Plz, suggest me
Lithuania is not religious at all, more pagan.
Nu ,nu..
@@ernisj.8087 kas nu nu?
Tai, net jaunimas į bažnyčias laksto, anokie čia pagonys.

Paganism is a form of religion
