I have been a Raiders fan since 1968, seen all of the highs & lows. This team feels different than the past teams of the last 20 years, this defense will get us to the playoffs with either QB.Its going to be an exciting ride.

Mark this video people and guarantee after the season, this guy will seem like a prophet. People really sleeping on this team, which is good. Team believes in themselves and all on board. Coaches said they’ve never seen so many players show up in offseason to train together. They are all buying in and with leaders like Maxx and Tae, players bringing up their game and energy. Definitely a physical team and teams will know they getting a highly physical game when playing this team. This guy is a Pats fan and knew more about this team and better evaluation than the actual media heads who get paid to do analysis n are lazy and just pick against Raiders every season. You know from their analysis they not really lookin at the team or its players. Really well done video, definitely did his research, respect!

I agree 100% even ESPN ranks of 26 in the league which is ridiculous
Completely ridiculous. The defense was #1 in points allowed after AP took over. Crosby should've won DPOY at least once over the last two seasons, Koonce was elite after the AP regime began, Spillane had absolutely All-Pro numbers last year and was very clutch, Jack Jones is a ball hawk, Wilkins got added, then on offense you have Davante, who's still elite, Bowers who might be All Pro as a rookie, and can play just as well in the slot, and can line up in the backfield or out wide, a top 10 offensive line, Zeus who was averaging about 100 yards a game as a starter, and AOC who was on a heater the last 6 games. He went over 100 passer rating 4 times, as high as like 125, and also was over 94 or so another of those, with 9 TDs and just 1 INT in that stretch. Jakobi also does everything, including smack people on blocks, and then a healthier Gallup as your #3 with Tucker as your burner. How is that a bottom 10 roster?

Thanks for your honest evaluation of the Raiders roster. If you watched the Raiders vs. Chiefs and Chargers after AP took over, it's undeniable that this team is a playoff contender. This roster added more talent on offense and defense with the addition of AOC as the starter from last year. I believe Raiders can win 11 games, make the playoffs, and Maxx Crosby wins DPOY 🏆
That’s what I’m predicting too. AND, what if AOC comes out and pulls a Purdy or comeback POTY? Everybody is banking on the quarterback play being bad for this year. Stuff happens it’s the NFL.

@coreyijams9207 precisely what I've been saying since AP took over. Had AO been the HC and AOC our starting QB the entire season, we possibly win the division, and Gurantee we'd be in the playoffs.
They’d have made the playoffs for sure. Oh, they also had a half-assed Mcdaniels playbook to work with. AOC and Minshew are struggling in camp because they’re going against a very good defense. If AOC was doing really well I would be worried. Both qbs would be better on any other team
i’m extremely impressed with the guy who is not even a raider fan to provide this kind of insight… Absolutely nailed it… Raiders are my sleeper pick may not win the Super Bowl but really good chance to be a playoff team more specifically take the over on total regular season wins… Money in the bank
Also forgot to mention, we have to give our GM Tom Telesco credit because it was a solid draft and he knows how to build rosters. Every season Chargers were always picked with high expectations because the rosters were always considered “stacked.” Got to say this guy is a true football fan and knows PLAYERS! Love that he understands how COMPLETE a player Maxx Crosby is, not just about sacks. Same monster u get in 1st qtr is same monster u getting in the 4th qtr, but even more hungry! This D Line is finally a strength again! Miss the days of having angry, hungry D lines. We back!
That was solid. I would add as well that in a division as tough as the AFC west the fact that they have the #1 punter and a top five field kicker could be huge. Great video man, I was not expecting cogent, rational, supported positions; well done.

Watch for Koonce, Tyree, Tre, and our Rookies to contribute a lot this year. Not to mention Maxx getting freed up because of Wilkins. With Spillane, diablo, and Masterson playing behind that D-line. Watch for Trevon to step his game up, with Epps keeping everyone on point. Jack Jones is going to ball out and hopefully 2nd year CB Bennet steps up as well. I'm genuinely excited for this year to start. I want to see our rookies make the team too... Trey Taylor at safety, rookie RB Dillon Laube and Jackson powers is already going to be solid on the O-line. Appreciate your take as a Patriots fan recognizing that we're going to be nasty this year... Trenches!!!

I've been excited before the 2016 off season the belief that carr and Adams were going to take over the NFL gruden 10 year tenure how many championships would we have now AP is different I have seen the difference and I actually believe that super bowl championships are going to happen if we keep everything in place we already beat the chiefs and all we need is consistently play the raider way
As a Raiders fan it was fun to watch them after Pierce took over, so I'm excited about this season.

Both the Kicker and Punter have named as Pro-Bowlers and they're young.
Wilkins had 9 sacks i believe and top 5 at his position against the run.
I think they'll put JPJ at LG and move Parham to RG where he plays better .
Been a Raiders fan since 74. I can see and feel the teams intensity go up 10 fold with AP at the helm last year. If that continues we will make the playoffs. And if not , you're sure gonna know you just got out of a hard fight. You show more insight than any main stream football media young Man. Us Raider fans love non biased content on our team. Thanks!

Really in depth research and analysis. You get what so many people miss about this raiders roster. We saw a glimpse of it with the win on Christmas morning against the chiefs, because of the quarterback they might not be a real contender, but they are a dark horse could certainly ruin some team’s days/seasons

This video convinced me the Raiders will be decent. Evaluate rosters without QB's and they probably have a top 10 roster. Their problem is without a good QB even with a solid roster, they are just a team that should be fighting for a wildcard spot.

As much as I like some of these pieces, ima keep sleeping. The combination of AOC/minshew, Zamir White, and Luke Getsy will never inspire fear in me, regardless of if the rest of their roster made the hof tomorrow
I mean those are valid concerns but are definitely overblown by a lot of people. The Raiders went 5-4 with AOC at QB after AP took over, so clearly the Raiders can get it done with him. More importantly, AOC showed improvement as the year went on with 8 TDs and 0 INTs throughout the last 4 weeks. He finished as the second best rookie QB last year statistically. Zamir White has a limited sample size, but in that sample size he played better than Jacobs was last year. Zamir rushed for basically 400 yards over the last 4 games. The biggest concern for me is definitely Getsy, though I mean the Raiders had a QB coach calling plays for the first time ever last season so it can’t get any worse. Also, as much as Getsy deserves blame for Chicago’s lackluster offense, there’s only so much you can do as OC when you have a QB that can’t read a defense. Anyone who watches football more than just casually knows Justin Fields was the biggest reason behind the lack of success on offense. Overall, it’s hard for me to understand people who predict the Raiders to have 4-6 wins. They finished 8-9 last season despite a coaching change mid way through, and only got better this offseason from both the addition of new talent and just the fact they have a young team that can only improve.

I love all the negativity about the Raiders from the press and I love the over/under of 6.5 it's great for the team. Not only does it provide motivation but I think it'll help the sneak up on some teams that maybe aren't expecting a difficult game. Iv'e been saying all off season that this is the best Raider roster since the early 2000s and they did a great job of amassing veteran depth without spending a lot of money which leaves them with a lot of cap room even if they don't use it all this year they can resign key guys like Koonce who I think is going to be a star. When AP took over for the last 9 games they had the #1 defense in the league and I don't see them going backwards with Wilkins and Wilson having a good chance to really contribute to a better defense than last year. The offense is obviously the elephant in the room but like you said they have the pieces in place to be a good unit. As far as AOC we'll see but he was a lot better in college than a lot of Raider fans realize most of them see him only as a 4th rd pick so automatically he sucks or is a career backup. I think he's accurate and has a good arm and if any fans actually bothered to watch a few of his college games he moved around the pocket pretty well he just made a lot of risky throws because without him they weren't winning most of their games. If he can learn to process like a good pro does he's talented enough to win with. He remade his body in the off season and spent the entire time at the facility working out and learning the offense he looks like a different player from last year. I'm hoping he makes a leap in year 2 because if he does we can win this year because we're not complete by any means, but the talent is there to be a really good football team now.

AP was our linebacker coach during a time when our linebackers were playing horrible.

As a raider fan I explain it to my friends as whatever has gotten into the players because of AP, is what we like to see. Antonio Pierce has IT, I’m not necessarily able to explain what IT is but I know he has IT.
With this much talent on defense (I'm thinking that by week 3) we'll be seeing some form dominance emerge.

@@TheBottomLineView You did a great job I was surprised how well you know the roster two things I would say you didn't cover were two pro bowl kickers and very good special teams and Tre Tucker worked his ass off all off season (as did a lot of guys) and he looks like a totally different player this year according to AP. All their veteran coaches said they've never seen so many players at the facility all through their off season like this team and hopefully it'll pay off.
Raiders put pressure on defensively with antonio pierce coaching mentality; the question is whether they will offensively? Playmakers are there Zeus Brock & Slim Reaper but will they score TDS? zamir hasnt Can they pressure defenses into mistakes? lil ass boy will have to grow a big stache

Quentin Nelson, AR, Jonathan Taylor, Ad Mitchell, Alec Pierce, Micheal Pittman, Josh Dobbs, Joe Flacco, jelani woods, Braden Smith, Raiman, Ryan Kelly, Samson Ebukam, Deforest Buckner, Grover Stewart, EJ Speed, Zaire Franklin, kenny moore, Julian blackmon
Can you explain why the jets roster is overrated? Colts get plenty of love . Way more than the raiders
@@TheBottomLineView Because people act like the Jets have a stacked roster across the board when they don't. That's mostly on defense. Their Recieving cores and Line depth is questionable

@@maskedman5657Their receiving core is not top tier but it isn’t questionable. Garrett Wilson, Mike Williams, Malachi Corley, Allen Lazard, and Xavier Gipson make up a solid WR room. Wilson is a true WR1, Williams is an above average WR2 when healthy, and Malachi Corley is a great prospect who can come in and contribute immediately as WR3 and possibly develop into a solid WR2. Allen Lazard when catching balls from Aaron Rodgers was putting up low end WR2 high end WR3 numbers so he provides solid depth as the 4th option, and Xavier Gipson is a fine 5th option at WR. Tyler Conklin is a solid starting TE too tho they do lack depth at that position.

Maxx Crosby is my favorite Raider. I have never seen his like and I have watched Bruce Smith, Reggie White, Derrick Thomas play. When Maxx is on the field I am watching.
I think he the best defensive player in the NFL and it’s not even close.

A bit of a push-back on the OL... we're going to running mostly zone next season, not power. Miller can do either; Parham and James are bother better in zone, but Munford is more of a power scheme player. The reports say that Munford has dropped some weight this off-season to improve his mobility - we'll have to see if it works out.
Koonce is a better run stopper than you're giving him credit for.

@@TheBottomLineView Maybe not his strength but it took him 2 years in the weight room to actually start and he ended up a pretty good run defender with plenty of TFLs and by no means was he a liability.
