    Great. Correct me if I’m wrong but won’t a quicker way to place the origin to an object be to select the object in object mode then click d object tab near d top panel, then click on set origin, then finally click on origin to geometry?

    Incredible as always. I would like to have you animate the character with bones in your next video rather than parenting.I find the bones easier out of the two. Would it be possible to animate by sticking on either of the two or is it necessary that one should master the 2 methods? And how did you created the pivot points in the parenting method-plz explain?
    Waiting for more GP videos,,,,,As the name suggests I'm learning t animate❤..... Thank you,

    • @Learn2Animate
      @Learn2Animate  3 роки тому +1

      Bones it is! you should learn both methods but master the one that is more useful to you and your animations. You can see how I move the origin point (Pivot point) in this video. ua-cam.com/video/NgkIVOeuMwY/v-deo.html Time 5:52

    How would you rig with bones if you have whole arm as one whole object? Would I have to use both bones and lattice modifier? What if your whole character is one object, not separated, how would you use bones and lattice then? I appreciate your input and your videos, thanks for creating them

    • @Learn2Animate
      @Learn2Animate  3 роки тому

      OK, so if you draw the entire character it might be a better idea if you use frame by frame. But if you just want to move a certain part for example the arm, you might just create the bones. as I show you in this video: ua-cam.com/video/UC_eycw20J4/v-deo.html I haven't gone over lattices but Yes, that is another way. Hope this helps 👍

    What a freakn hassle.
    Assigning vertex groups? Good grief.
    Blender has to simplify this nonsense.

    • @Learn2Animate
      @Learn2Animate  3 роки тому +1

      I agree, I wish there was an easier way. But remember, the more automated the process the less control you have. This gives you all the control.

    • @chuzzbot
      @chuzzbot 3 роки тому +2

      @@Learn2Animate It could be a lot quicker with less clicks and even more control. I won't accept that that's the most efficient rigging system for good 2d binding. No freakn way.

    • @Learn2Animate

      This video teaches you the basics. you can use this technique to apply it to every part of the body. I did it with an arm, but that could be a finger, a leg, a neck or any jointed limb. You can apply this to the joints in the fingers, although the angle of the hand matters. hope this helps.👍

    Do you recommend Blender Grease Pencil as a viable replacement for softwares like Spine/Moho studio ? I would like to use it for 2D Bone rigging animation development for Game dev. I like that it is free but I am not sure how accessible and artist-friendly it is...

    • @Learn2Animate
      @Learn2Animate  3 роки тому

      I am not familiar with Moho studio, but Blender is a very powerful 2D/3D animation program. One of the advantages of Blender is the fact that you can use the 3D features to add dimension to your animations. ua-cam.com/video/T5ERy-22nuc/v-deo.html Hope this helps. 👍😎

I can't move the rotate tool is just stay in the middle and rotate the whole image around. the stroke icon doesn't change, how do you get the curve options, its nowhere...wth?
