I just love how all my African brothers and sisters are out here winning. Thriving not surviving. Keep it up guys.
Amen!
Is there like a shared African sympathy? I mean, South Africa and Nigeria aren't really close in any kind of way.
@@djoetma it’s just African recognizing African. We don’t have much in common
Great actor and one of my favourite interviewers, pretty sure one of them is English though
@@paddymcelligott5375 John boyega was born and raised in Britain. Trevor Noah was born and raised in South Africa.
Love boyega man, the guy gives off incredible energy, truly wish him the best
💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Yeah! He is fantastic
John always gives me a British Denzel Washington vibe.
Duuude! I literally wanted to say this
Boy, did i think it was just me seeing this!
I was thinking, if anyone plays Denzel in his biopic, it has to be John Boyega!
Yes! he looks more like him than this son does!
I came here to see if it's just me.
Attack The Block is a movie I can watch over and over and not get tired of watching. I'm so proud of his growth.
There will be a second part which is in the works already. (oh sorry, he even says so later in the interview)
I love that movie too
Probs & Mayhem
The fact that he’s Nigerian 🇳🇬💚 and making us proud. Love this guy and love this show!>>>
Yes, indeed! 🇳🇬
To the world 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬
Naijaaaaaaaa!
Naija!!!
There's something about this interview that had me smiling Kool Aid style. 😀 TY Trevor Noah and John Boyega
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣you got me man..
Best description of a smile I've ever read. Instantly understood & accurate af.
Yes! Me too. When he said Trevor Trevor Trevor I was just smiling big.
Fa real
I was grinning from ear to ear the whole time as well.
So much great energy here. John Boyega is such an inspiration and role model. I feel like Disney owes him his own Star Wars series, but done right.
Nah they ain’t going to Disney plus him
That brotherly love, appreciation and mutual respect was wholesome
I love the African art that Trevor is highlighting. There is so much more to the industry than just Hollywood.
John just had to throw in a bit of pidgin English and the Nigerian accent. I love my people 🇳🇬, no matter how successful, they never forget who they are. Thanks Trevor for bringing these Africans to your show and making positive impact on the African continent. You are truly remarkable.
I cracked up 🤣😂
I love how he brings such interesting people on his shows not just comedy but people making real changes
Yes!! 😀😀
It is just amazing how Trevor Noah's guests are always different from other night shows, but still very important guests
Bless them both.
To all Veterans:
We Never Forget🌹
🌹Not Ever🌹
Thank you, it's appreciated. :)
John Boyega to me is like a miniature Denzel Washington. They don't just resemble physically but he is literally walking in the shoes of acting prowess of the legendary Denzel
America is beautiful. We have a mainstream talk show with a South African native host interviewing a Nigerian Brit. Love it.
love to see how he hugs the guests - let's you know if he's friends with them or not.
Nah
It's a generational thing
I've only seen one guest (technically a couple) not greet Trevor...not even a handshake. And it took his charm & natural interview skills to open the couple up by the end of the segment.
@@mikolowiskamikolowiska4993 😀 You're not wrong.
He always gets excited to when African guests come on....
@@topper1212 And you're not wrong too 🤗
when he switched to the Nigerian accent 😂😂😂
Just saw him in Woman King 💜💜💜💜💜 great actor. Continue representing King 🤴🏾🤴🏾
The Nigerian accent came out 😂 🔥
“I beggeed him”
John is brilliant, hope to see much more of him.
The energetic exchange between these two beautiful brothers is truly amazing; black man joy on full display!
Loved.."I twiddled my toes in my little furry socks" priceless and we should all take a moment to enjoy that feeling🙏🏽🥰🥰
"I begged him!!!!!!"...
John Boyega still has that Nigerian accent..😅
Very konk!!! 😂😂😂😂
It's a nice hybrid of nigerian, british and a tiny bit of American accent.
I have loved this kid since "Attack The Block". We call him "Baby Denzel" lol.
Very talented and inspiring, a man who stands up for his people. I love him to pieces
and will always give him his 👑 while he's here to wear it. 💖💖
Ikr he so reminds us of Denzel and he looks so much like him
I think John Boyega would do a perfect Denzel Washington biopic. They have such a huge resemblance
Surely he'd do a great job, but Denzel's son is a great actor too.
I say this all the time. He even has some of his mannerism.
Awww their broship is so cute!
Mr. Boyega seems like a very smart, kind and grounded man. Best to you sir!
One of the most genuine interviews ever. I love this exchange equal level of talent and respect between two brilliant individuals. Honest, direct, funny and inspiring.
John Boyega is truly so talented and seems like such a genuine and nice guy. He deserves all the awards!
Just love Trevor brings all these great artists to his show! Bug ups to John!!!
Wow!! Didn’t know he protrayed the character Bryan. He didn’t even have a British accent. He is an amazing actor. Thanks for playing the role. You knocked it out the park.
proud Nigeria 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬 in the house like this let know ourselves
We here!🇳🇬💚
Ha... Shouldn't it be about the British-Nigerians "in the house"... Ehn?!?
@@nemi-mout1874 we Nigeria are a very proud Nation that Don't like to share our sons and daughters with any nation in the world.
@@emperortimothyjatto6686 as a Nigerian in naija I think you are full of it😏
@@emperortimothyjatto6686 you're not sharing him because he was born in the UK.
I’m so happy seeing John and Trevor 🥰 the joy I’m feeling right now 🥹
LOVE THE JOHN INTERVIEW!!!!!!👏🏽💯👏🏽💯👏🏽💯👏🏽💯👏🏽💯👏🏽💯👏🏽💯👏🏽💯🌹👏🏽🫶🏽
Disney did him no justice. Love that he is open as possible of what he feels about the work he did with them,😀
This guy man love John boyega I wish they had given more for Finn I'd love to see his story go on.
disney were just being racist, Finn started off looking like the protagonist like the face franchise and they just sideline his character
@@oladotunmekuleyi83 I don't think they were being racist or we wouldn't have any black characters in Star wars or any Marvel films. I just think that it was just a story that was written poorly that's what it was
Love Boyega! Extreme talent and can’t wait to work with him!
And a very bright engaging personality too.
Love me some him. Beautiful brother. Hugs from Brooklyn.
“I begged him” 😂😂😂.
Nigerians representing positively in all spheres of life. That's great!!
That can be said about any nationality.
Two wholesome guys having an awesome moment. Love it!
Trevor is so intelligent. He puts in so much work in research before every interview… love him ❤️
I can’t help but think back to Trevor’s recent interview with Daniel Kaluuya when they talked about the difference between Nigerian, Ugandan, and South African personalities 🤣
Was it Daniel Kaluuya or Burna boy?
@@neosomaliana It was with Daniel
Daniel Kaluuya is another class act.For some reason these afro brits comes across as incredibly nice and gentlemany,we complain that they get the roles more than their American counterparts but I think reason being is they're personalities and work ethic is contagious.
I hope Breaking gets the awards or appreciation that it deserves and I hope Michael K Williams gets a posthumous award
I like the way he said I begged him. Nigeria
He's so handsome!!!
I LOVE THIS DUDE. No, FOR REAL. Love is even too small of a word for it, actually...🥰😍🤩
WOW!!! Two CLEARLY very intelligent people. So much content within just a few minutes.
TREVOR may just be the best interviewer on TV, in the world, right now. JOHN always has GEMs too. Salute!
I appreciate celebrities like him who encourage balance you know especially cuz America is known for like a lot of work and workaholism so you kinda have to learn to find balance you know take a break every so often
Why are you spamming this thread dude?
Great interview, great chemistry between the two!
I love how Trevor & team are deliberate and intentional about show casing #BlackExcellence 🙌🏽
Thanks for your comment
He is such an engaging positive force in the world. Glad he is getting more exposure.
What a cool dude
❤️ this young man! Great job Trevor, ‘another banger’
The bromance between Trevor and John is amazing .... shoutout to Nigeria and South Africa.😜☺️
What a great show!
Looking forward to the movies 🍿
When you have a dream, you've got to grab it and never let go.
Always proud! Great vibes! Love J Boyega's energy and sense of humor. Thank you Trevor my man.
I freaking love him! Who? Both of them! lol 😍😍😍😆😅
John Boyega the next Denzel Washington....
You can tell Denzel is one of his favorite actors.
That John Boyega got a crazy swag 🔥
John Boyega always reminds me of Mohammad Ali & Denzel Washington in one with a british accent!🔥👍🏽
Such a powerful actor, the preview alone got my eyes wet
I am just grinning 😀😃, at my screen listening to this interview! Love both of you John B & Trevor N.... John you going places my man💪🏾🤞🏽
3:10-3:14 knocked me out 😂
If anyone was ever needed to play young Denzel Washington role... John Boyega would be a perfect match..
Yes, definitely!! Great idea.
A Black American need to play Denzel
He would do a great job no doubt, but Denzel's own son John is an actor.
@@Greyareas27 yea
But Boyega has a lot of Denzel's mannerisms
@@emmaagbor9724 I would think his son would as well.
I love the brotherly love!
I love everything about this interview! Yes, yes, yes!
John Boyega is awesome ,I think Jimi (who acted as Oba Ade from Oyo should be interviewed)
Amazing Interview. J Boyega is such a vibrant person.
4:24 "You _hab_ motee _vay_ shun!"
😆😆😆
Noah, you showcase the diversity and talent of us Africans and we salute you. We are probably the least monolithic people on the planet.
I think John Boyega may go down as one of the best in history before he closes his eyes.
John Boyega looks like a fun guy. I don’t drink but I wouldn’t mind to grab a beer with this guy.
He could play young Denzel Washington!!
He gives me the feeling as if Denzel has passed the torch to him. And he just so happens to look like him to.
I AM GETTING DEZEL WASHINGTON VIBE WITH THIS GUY.
GREAT INTERVIEW 👍 LOVE HOW JOHN BOYEGA MAKE TREVOR, LOL 😆 TWO AMAZING MEN 👏
John’s accent is everything! Great interview! 😊🙌👌
I love I love I LOVE THIS SHOW🤣🤣🤣🤣❤❤❤❤❤
He's Our Denzel.. Repping the UK..👍🏾
This guy is the new Denzel I swear .John boyega the boss
Love the energy in this clip
That last handshake, at the end, had some fufu vibration...
That was that African Brother Love shake!😜😜😜
I love the energy at the end.
john boyega is a real role model
I love the Nigerian accent at 3:12
His Energy is infectious!
The handshake at the end
It's the way Trevor was pronouncing Boyega for me😂😂😂, Great Energy and intelligent conversation 😍
Beautiful interview Trevor and John Boyega
These guys really enjoyed the interview 🤧
And that is why I loved him in The Force Awakens.
Omo naija 🫶🏽 🇳🇬

This right here woooooow. Genuine support and respect for one another :)
Even His Mannerisms are Denzel Washington Like. This Man is Amazing and Talented
