    Honestly just the fact that we have aspects as a gameplay mechanic is the main plus. All of the aspects will see some sort of changes and buffs or shifts. I really wish they took a community poll on what kinda playstyle we wanted to see added for each character, even now it could help a lot. Like Loki for example, I wish he had a mage playstyle with an aspect, adding a ranged ability or changing his scaling to int on some or all abilities. Using aspects as a way to also express parts of the lore that they didn’t emphasize or use in the original kit could be sooo cool. I look forward to them listing to us and being more creative.

    Athena's aspect should give you the health shield when you land so that even going full damage you are more likely to win the exchange

      make it so she and every team member in the vicinity is immune to damage for the duration of the fight and any enemy hit takes 200% damage from every team member

      Athena aspect woulda been cool if it silenced the enemy during the channel. Focusing more on a jungle/support gank playstyle

    It seems like they had 3-4 really good ideas for aspects then went, “ well we can’t just release 3-4 of them” and cobbled together the rest, but the future of the system is definitely bright

    !!This is a beta, and the aspects have just been introduced so this is only what I want the aspects to be in the future.
    My only problem with aspects design wise is that you have Ra, Cern and Thana which seem polished and are actually really fun. They also change how the god is played and some changes are there to compensate (cern cd refund on his 3 or thana heal and bonus damage on his 3)
    But for the most part (14 of them exactly) like Athena, Anhur, Geb or Chaac, it feels like only half an aspect. They added a cool idea, but I feel the ASPECT initself is not finished. If they polish their idea like they did with Ra, Cern and Thana, it will be amazing.
    Only problem is Mordred, whose aspect is sooooo much better than the basic kit, it's ridiculous.

      Yeah there's for sure some work to be done on some of them but you can really see the potential with the approximately 25% of them that are insanely cool.

      The chaac one actually feels better than it seems on paper and it does change it up a decent amount. Loki aspect is another one that is fun and I think it'll be really good in joust

      ​@@jordanweaver3448not for chaac mid tho. Tried it yesterday, it was miserable. It does no dmg unless you stack both areas. But then you get to the point where the axe is so slow that ppl will just walk out of the area. Didn't help I was against a kuku who can just out and tornado if I dive.
      It is good when someone is diving u tho, so might be better in solo. But that also makes the aspect a bit less interesting if it's only viable in the 1 role chaac is playable in.

      The fact most of them are just bad is a bit worrisome. Especially because all the role shift ones seem the worst & role shifts haven't rlly come from the aspects yet.
      So it could use some balancing or maybe they could evolve aspects over the match, like an auto-leveling passive. They could also add more to some features to aspects, like if you make a cupid support aspect just a heal on the damaging ability isn't gonna work. He also needs more peel or smth.

      @p.8967 the point of the them is to not be good or bad but a playstyle change. The base kit is also still supposed to be a viable option. And ya chaac aspect does take some skill and positioning to get value but so do alot of things in smite.

    I think you missed one important detail for Khepri aspect. It holds the person in place, which can make it very easy for people to hit abilities and auto attacks. I feel like it sets up for your kuku and Ra really really easy. Also doing an extra 200 damage on auto attacks late game is pretty nice.

    If the aim was to make khepri a more bruiser or fighter, they could maybe give him an enhanced auto that bleeds the target. Maybe even applies a mark for someone to proc (or himself) to do increased damage to retain some of his team oriented structure. Definitely feels like it could use something additional.

    I think a fun aspect for Yu Huang could be that his passive no longer gives prot shred to his 1, but instead gives him significantly increased attack speed while at full Dao

    My idea for an aspect:
    Khepri (Aspect of the nova)
    - On successfully reviving an ally with your ultimate, they hover in place for a few seconds instead of moving to khepris position. Upon reviving they detonate for magical damage in an area. This sacrifices positioning for damage which could be good in a solo lane playstyle.

      I like this, but also change/buff and cut/nerf 2 other parts of the kit in addition to this. I think the lose 1 or 2 things and gain 1 or 2 things type aspects are best. I'm gonna play melee Cern

    Anhur's and Neith's aspects may make a lot more sense when they add Silverbranch Bow to the game. I mean Od'Bow already kinda makes Anhur's one pop off.
    Regarding Fenrir's Aspect, I don't even think it's better than standard in Support. As Fenrir support is just looking to be aggressive and win through early damage output rather than control.
    So far Danza's, Ra's and Nem's are my favourite Aspects as they do change how you think with the character a lot.
    It's a good start for Aspects and I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with other characters as some are usually hard locked into one singular role like Jing and Kuku, so having a way to viably flex into other roles would be great.

      Silverbranch is a little redundant with no attack speed cap tho. I guess they could cap you at 2.5 and convert from there but why not just go above 2.5 and save the item slot?
      For fen idk, I think it's far better late game and you don't level brutalize in support anyway so the damage loss isnt a big deal, having the slow is more valuable there.

      @@Inters3ct They could just say; "for every 0.1 over 2.5 you gain X Str". Make a crazy luxury item like Parashu or Dreamer, but something that's of benefit to high as builds.

    This is what I want for Ullr. Two aspects, one for his melee stance and one for Ranged. In both, you can no longer stance switch. But the 4 becomes an actual ultimately. Maybe Ranged he can summon a stampede of deer as he is a hunter. Not sure exactly.

      Unless the ultimate automatically kills an enemy in front of me and has 2 charges I would never give up a stun and a leap, or the ability to have ranged attacks and two 70+ unit abilities.

      I love this idea and seems like something they’d do „aspect of the hunter“ and „ aspect of the stalker“ boosting one side, but getting rid of the other

      I think you could make this 1 aspect still. His ult is an actual ultimate but with a 30-60s cd f.e., so you're locked out of stance switching for that time. Plus both stances could still have a different ult.
      This is a great idea tho.

    I can’t really tell what they’ll do for heavily flexible gods like Set but as for a Tiamat aspect (assuming she’ll get one) I hope it allows support Tiamat to work more. I’ve done a good amount of support Tiamat thus far and it’s had some varying results that honestly mainly come from the enemy having a better team comp or us (specifically my carry and their ability to clear) having a weaker comp. With a slow, knock up, somewhat consistent stun, the bull slow, the serpents split pushing, and the harden scales damage mitigation Tiamat has a good amount to work as a support, not to mention items like War Banner, Gauntlet, Prophetic, Talisman, and whatever item buffs I can’t think of she doesn’t do much wrong. But as usual Tiamat in all roles has a pretty awful early game and a significant amount of other tanks are much more effective than Tia early. An aspect that allows her to execute jungle bosses at 10% health with Consume would be amazing for a support aspect (granted I feel like 7.5% health would be more balanced)

    I was duo queuing with Loki, and hitting the enemies with a invisible Poseidon kraken is nuts. We also did like a fenrir, were you literally just walked up to them and ultd

    2:47 Make an amendment here so that enemies that are killed while she’s channeling for briefly after landing partially refresh hers and nearby allies HP and Mana.

    Maybe for neith they can add something in an aspect that heals her and or allies like in smite 1 with her 2 instead of explosions.
    A fun idea for nu wa would be a reference to old wa's kit. Instead of her ultimate going in the air and auto damaging everyone. Instead nu wa's passive cooldown is reduced and her buffs after an ability is used last longer. When nu wa activates her ultimate she gains increased movement speed immune to slows and buffs her basic attacks like she currently does. When all elemental powers are active she gains the tail and her buffs get doubled or something.
    with this you sacrifice your global ult and movement, for more buffs and a focus on autoattack build. Could be cool but probably changes too much in her kit lol

    Loki aspect was super fun. But i also had multiple times where id use it, and the person who eent invis with me would immedietly auto attack or drink a potion and it would vanish. But some cool players were made

    1:15 Idea to rework this a smidge:
    ⚪️Make it so Anhur’s attack speed buff applies to ALL enemies he hits with his basic attacks.
    ⚪️Anhur, per stack, reduces the damage output of enemies he hits with his Basic Attacks by 2.5% per stack, along with a 5% increase in movement speed for himself and his allies when moving towards enemies he hits with his Basic Attacks.
    ⚪️Make it so that Basic Attack kills shave off 1s from his active cooldowns.

    30:04 Idea to buff Cernunnos’s and Geb’s aspects to up their power a smidge:
    Cernunnos: When killing an enemy with Basic Attacks, the current season’s effects from your Shifter of Seasons is locked in, momentarily allowing you to switch to another season during that duration and stack their effects. Damaging and killing enemies with your basic attacks extend the duration of this effect. Only 1 season’s effect can be locked in, with the current season taking the place of the prior one upon a kill (For example, you can kill an enemy in Spring, lock that effect in, and swap to Winter to have both the Lifesteal and Slow together.)
    Geb: Rollout no longer damages or knocks around enemies, but instead lasts long, rolls faster, and grabs enemies caught in the way after fully forming.

    Can we get a general item tier list? Im returning after not having played since August and open beta launching soon, lots of players will probably feel overwhelmed by the amount of new items etc and I think laying out core items, role specific items, or situational items might be a good foot in the door for a lot of new or returning players!

    One thing i could see athena aspect good for is if a team or laner is like turtling up under a pheonix or tower or something instead of going and teleporting on your mid or solo and dashing under tower to pull them out for the 2v1 you can tele on the the enemy already in tower use the pull have your auras proc immediately drag them out drop your kit and have the dash to fallow up or escape i do feel its under powered without any damage or cc debuf ect added to the landing and its usefulness of being like a death mark where they take extra damage while your chaneling on them is kinda a draw back because we all know if the character your ulting to dies it just eats your ult although depending on the strength just having a global debuff to like your solo is chasing a weakend chaac down lane you debuff him he takes enough damage to turn a forced back into a kill or say your solo is getting pushed but it gives him a leg up to turn the tides and makes them take extra damage for towerdiving on your people in the laning faze i can see a definite play style change where the teleport is used more as a fallow up to the utility of debuffing opponents globaly if its strong enough

    i think cupid aspect shoulve allowed him to heart bomb his allies attach it to them so they can jump in and get healed and do some dmg but heaviliy reduced dmg for it and gain a sheild if ovver 8 stacks

    22:10 So why is Mordred's 6 procs a problem but Arthur's 6 procs on top of having his dash be free (he only has to AA), a cripple, a knockup, a prot debuff, a long channeled ability to get 5 phoenix heals, a stun, an instant banish, and "two dashes" (both 3 are slow immune, technically orange 2 is also a dash but I'm downplaying) is okay? I know Arthur is in a game with more gods so there's more to handle him but he has exponentially more effects in his kit than Mordred.

      The key difference there is that Arthur's dash doesn't proc item effects (and is shorter). Also abilities don't ever proc items more than once, so Arthur 3 doesn't proc phoenix shield 5 times, just once.

      @@Inters3ct I know Arthur's dash doesn't proc items but I'm just talking about how Mordred's aspect gives him 6 item procs and Arthur also has 6 item procs because of his 6 abilities, yet any discussion I've seen of Mordred's aspect mentions nerfing it even though Arthur has a boatload of extra utility on top of 6 procs and Arthur's ability to proc has never been touched, so why should Mordred's?
      Basically,
      Arthur: Significantly more utility (listed in the original comment), Free dash with AA cancel, Has 6 item procs = Ok
      Mordred: Less mobility compared to Arthur's AA cancels & 2 dashes, Uses his aspect for a tradeoff to have 6 item procs = Oh no, needs nerf
      Also I know Arthur orange 3 doesn't proc multiple times on one god but because of the long channel time, dash speed, and decent AoE it's one of the rarer Solo abilities that you can feasibly proc on-hit-god items on all five enemies.

    So far only complaint is the thana one it’s way too strong, was running around doing 1400 to back line and 1100 to tanks with reap whilst healing most of health just building damage jungle. It’s just better than base thana if building for jungle and all you lose out on is a little sustain.

    I just can't disagree more about Athena especialy for Jungler role. The dmg from her ult is great but 80% of the time not there. As soon as u ult unless communicating with someone who have a target without ANY form of escape, the ennemy will just immedialty disengage from ur allies making ur ult almost useless unless you ennemy commits to the fight which most of the time they don't. Where as a jungler's perspective, yes it doesnt do dmg but still puts u on top of the ennemy turning it into a 2v1 or atleast forcing ur ennemy to WAIT for u to land before using its disengage otherwise he is screwed. After u land you can do massive dmg with the base kit especialy in Smite 2. This aspect is just S-tier to me debate

    Hecates Aspect needs to be banned in Arena. I’ve main her ever since the patch came on PS5 and I’m consistently top damage (by a considerable amount), no deaths, and the only person who can get close enough to kill me are the invis twins and Hecate (aspect) herself

    Tbh why do all this aspect system and balance when adding in more of smite 1s roster and new picks brings more gameplay diversity in itself? That part confuses me.
    I look at it like this, if you dont like the pick, dont play it. I never enjoyed Izanami ie, i dont need them to do an aspect flr Iza to make me enjoy her i can just play something else instead of screwing with the balance for those who do enjoy her for how she is.

      Don't really understand your point. People CAN enjoy the god how it is and never touch the aspect. It's just more ways to play the game. It opens up more ways to play your favourites and potential ways to play a God you didn't love in a different way that you DO love.

      ​@@mikehenderson7730They're adding gods at a high pace, and the aspect system is a huge new addition for the potential of the game, and increases diversity for the gods we already have.
