I got recommended Pavlovs house on steam by a friend and it’s a very faithful implementation of the game.
If you are like me and it’s expensive to commit to an obscure game. It helped me make the decision.

An image on the lid looks a lot like those reliefs on the buildings' walls in Soviet Union. The disigner nailed it.

Funny joke. I like it. Anyway, I enjoy historical and strategic games. The DVG series of solo games seem interesting. Your review of "Castle Itter" persuaded me to buy and play the game. It's been along time since I purchased a board game. Your review accurately reflected the game and play. After a few reading rule mishaps, I finally played an enjoyable game. So, based on this review of Pavlov, I'm going to buy this game, as well. I look forward to seeing how well I enjoy this game. Thank you for your review, Cody.

Pavlov's House is playable for free on Tabletopia, for anyone who would like to try it.

I KS’ed both Pavlov and Itter, and traded away Itter after 5 plays. Pavlov is one of the best solitaire games out there, and it’s the only siege-style game I like (and I like it a lot).

      Why didn't you like Itter?

I liked it, but It just made me want to play Pavlov more. I didn’t need both, and Pavlov has more depth and decisions. It’s just a question of shelf space.

You'll recall the title card before the montage states 60-90 minutes. Thanks.

How about a recommendation for a battle of Stalingrad book?

Antony Beevor’s book Stalingrad: The Fateful Siege, 1942-1943 is a good overview of the battle.
