Some of you lovely people have been asking about supporting my channel and the best way to do this is:
Become a Channel Member here on UA-cam, from 99p per month
If you want to buy any of the books mentioned in my videos, check out my NEW bookshop.org storefront. I am new to using this properly but every video I am going to make a list of the books mentioned and you can find them all here: uk.bookshop.or... for each book you buy from there I earn a small commission :)
Thank You!

I love the idea of being mindful of the "objects" you are bringing into your home and then being responsible for it, including how it is let go of by recycling or re-homing the item. Also thank you for sharing the great clothing purchase tip... I will have to remember to wear my best outfits when clothes shopping from now on, and be sure to make other items are equal!
💰😂💸
Thank you, I can't take credit for that one as it came from the wonderful Aja Barber 😊
💷 This was so interesting, I really love the thought that what you bring into your home is then your responsibility, that’s such a good way to look at it. I’m the same as you with clothes! I can’t have falling straps, riding up tops, bunching up knickers 😅 etc! xx
Yes! Thank you! I was reading something recently (I cant quite remember where) that said something along those lines and it was like a lightbulb moment for me :)
A great video. Can really relate to it and like the idea of a low buy year, and examining what you are purchasing and why. The rules that you have set yourself seem really good. Would definitely be interested in the video you mentioned. Feeling motivated to set myself some low spend goals and rules x🤑
Thank you, I'll get together some of the stuff I've read 💜
Given me food for thought!😊
Perfect!

Hope the low buy year is going well, Charlotte! I'm doing a low buy year this year too. I'm finding it really motivating to help me save money. And I've just recently started selling items on vinted, which I'm actually really enjoying too ☺
Ooo i am glad to hear it! Any tips for me? Month one wasn't too bad and I'm hoping month two goes around the same way! Xx
I love the advice from Aja Barber. And while I'm doing my tbr challenge and have done book buying bans before, this is much more extended with it being a low buy year and you've done such a good job with the planning and setting your guidelines and boundaries. I hope it is going well! Pots help me so much with saving and intent.
Thank you! It's all really entwined into my plans to be more mindful, slow down and not expect things to change overnight 💜
Would loooove to live in Manchester because of their public transport links! It's so well connected to most major UK towns and cities AND it has a tram!! What a dream!
I didn't even think of Manchester! Were focused on the kind of Nottingham tram link or Sheffield way! I want to be able to get to the seaside easily too as I find it so calming 💜
What a great idea with trying to be more mindful in what you spend
Thank you 😊
I really enjoyed this video. I’ve been forced into a low buy year this year due to a rapidly reduced income and it’s really opened my eyes to how much I was frivolously spending before. Would love to follow more of your journey with this ❤
Thank you 😊 I'm just trying to work out the best way to document it 💜
I keep all my deodorants, shampoos etc... together now so I can see how many I have and like you I only replace them when I need to. Saves money and space.
I have started doing that, I have put them all on a shelf rather than away in a drawer too :)
Enjoyed the video! Where did you get the idea of the visual calendar with the planned/nonplanned days, it sounds smart. I'm gonna get the book
I think most of the books give that sort of advice but to have it visually like that was just out of me not wanting to spend money on a budget planner and having that in my stash 🤣

Great video I like that to me this is a realistic way to do a low spend year. I've seen some that are super extreme and I could never stick to that to be honest.
I also live in an area with poor transport links and it is a nightmare they are constantly cutting services. I'm going back to work September and resigned to the fact I'm going to have to drive or I can't get to most places because there's just no reliable way to get there it's frustrating.
It's so frustrating! I am such an advocate for public transport but where I live currently they've cut services so I have one bus stop a 10 min walk where there are I think 3 buses a day and they go round all the villages or a 25 minute walk to the other!
