I’ve done an experiment and placed the house with a garden in the middle of the garden. Every second/third house had apiaries in the garden 😅 Your house placement didn’t quite work for variety.😊
I tried the same the other day. 3 town starts, so 27 full size plots over the 3 runs, houses in the center of the plots. 2 had apiaries. lol. Actually spent quite some time tinkering with this issue: adding flower decorations nearby before the house is built, various locations (near water vs further away), house positioning, a couple other random batty concepts. It really does seem to be entirely random, with apiaries just having a generally low spawn rate. Basically you went to a casino and hit a mid-level jackpot if you got that sort of rate. You technically CAN guarantee they spawn, though. Just save seconds before a house finishes, and keep reloading until it pops in with apiaries. LOL
@@michaelmoss_nova_ai yes, my house placement does not give big variety but I am more focused on quantity now as the food starts running out in the 12th month, so I need to push it a bit more😬
@@dustinfoose8377 that is true, however spamming save, load can be a lomg tedious process. After 6 or 7 loads if I dont get it I just give up and continue playing
@@axefield Same here. I did it to ensure I had at least SOME honey coming in to start, but 2 minutes and 2 houses was all I could stand. Then, of course, 2 more got the random pull and had apiaries naturally.

@@dustinfoose8377 I pray for those dedicated apiary farms in alpha 0.6 update
