Definitely a Hero. He is probably the only comic character that can be Badass and at the same time vulnerable. He makes us heartbroken, like any other character we know. He has gone through such horrible things, brainwashing, experiments, that turns him from a good, protective Bucky Barnes into a dangerous weapon named Winter Soldier. "I remember all of them" is one of the most painful and heartbreaking lines ever. His eyes speaks for itself. Yes, he is a HERO.
BuckY reminds me so much if my fiance. He was an ex military veteran. When we met he was homeless living on the street. He was in bad shape. He didn't know how to love or care or be with someone. I told him ill be here for you. He would try to push me away and try to his best . he was scared about hurting me. He reminds me so much of bucky. He said if it wasn't for you i don't think I be here. You are my everything and I will always protect you.
Ik. It’s amazing to think that hydra had him for 70-90 years depending on what timeline you go by. But he was only active for 50-70 years again depends on the timeline. That means it took them 20 years to break him. That means that he kept fighting for 20 YEARS!!!

This song matches Bucky perfectly I love the scene with him jumping from the building with Black Panther following gracefully behind him. Besides Loki & Tony Bucky & T'Challa are real badasses.

In Captain America 2 when Hydra are wiping his mind they used a metal electrical plate over his left eye... It could very much be the same one as they used when they were experimenting on him and they knew he would survive

It is true that Cap staying in the past doesn't make a whole lot of sense for his character, but what if Bucky suggested it? Maybe, they had a discussion on this, and Bucky wants Steve to stay on the other timeline. To live a life that Tony suggested, a life that Cap really deserves. And maybe change some things too... Their own past is already written, but the other timeline could still be changed. Cap could save the other Bucky -- and Tony's parents. It's high chance that Cap will stay there forever, and Bucky will lose Cap. But to Bucky, a chance to save the alternate timeline Buck, and all the victims of the winter soldier, would be worth it. It's only my own thoughts on this. But I do think it fits Bucky's character and give a good explanation for that scene. Besides, they never said that Cap didn't do anything on the other side right?
just had a thought, if Bucky can feel a plum through a glove on his metal hand, then hoe much did it hurt when he skidded on the road when we first met him? or even when he dug his fingers into Tony's armor?
Gayla Apollos it did hurt a lot when he put his fingers into tony's armour. He had extensions put into his arm to help his body carry the arm but also to connect the nerve endings at least to his upper shoulder. So, yes to some extend he could feel through the arm.
