A couple of commentary: At 13:54 I didn't prevent my opponent from attacking me directly with my second E-Soul because I needed to activate Rod's effect in my next turn to search for Circle, and if Fenrir is on the field in my next turn and E-Soul would be face-up, I feared Fenrir would banish my second and last E-Soul. 17:31 Here Magikuriboh saved the duel! At 19:33 I was about to flip the table!!! You cannot imagine how mad I was. I had to negate Splash Mage's effect right there. I though that he would Link into Transcode right away and I would negate Transcode's effect and cost him more resources, but I forgot about Link Decoder and it being an extra extender. That cost me my whole board and almost the duel. Well, now I know.
The only thing I would add is that I would wait for a Summoning effect to activate before using Maxx C. That way, you force them to rely on their own strategy, while using it first gives them time to think. However, it's a reality that has served you well, as your opponents have made quick Summons that wouldn't have allowed Maxx C to activate properly.
@@theyioel indeed, my first option is always to wait for more commitment before activating Maxx C. But that depends on my hand and my field. If I know that I can finish the duel in my next turn with the cards I have, I'm gonna shotgun Maxx C in the draw phase, that way if my opponent pass turn, he's done, and if not, then I played around TTT and also I'm gonna draw from things like Fenrir and Kaijus that don't activate to summon. In the other case, if my hand is not good and I know that in my next turn I won't be able to finish the duel because I need more cards, then I'll wait for my opponent to commit more to make sure I draw from the Maxx C, because if my opponent decides to pass, then I'll be in a bad spot. Also, if I have 2 Maxx C I would shotgun 1 of them.
I feel really great. Love all the hits! The only thing I'm disappointed about is Protos and Puppet not being banned. We probably will see less Runick, Kash, Purrely, Dragon Link (therefore Bystials) in the Rank. The Meta will be a little bit better I think.
@1106hdgaming yea puppet and protos need to get banned. I haven't gotten puppet locked but it's thanks to me playing bystials. I was able to deal with protos once by attacking over it with rod and apprentice magician.
Normally I don't. Although sometimes I chain Soul Servant and save my DM. But the reality is that Bystials are lethal to DM and there's nothing we can do. I was using Ghost Belle in the Tear era when Bystials were more played. Playing more copies of DM could help, but in my experience, when I was running 2 DMs, the disruption of my turn created by the Bystial banishing my DM was enough to cause me to lose the duel, even though I have another copy in my deck. My turn was interrupted and that's enough, in the next turn my opponent is going to end it. So, I think that the benefit of running less bricks is greater than the detriment of running 1 DM. Also, you actually only need 1 copy of each magician to run the deck smoothly, other copies serve no purpose other than backup. That's why I decided to use 1 DM. I lose immediately if before finishing my board my DM gets banished. But I've won numerous duels if I managed to bring DMtDK before getting banished, since DMtDK is treated as DM I can keep playing. A little tip besides the use of Soul Servant to save DM, is to summon DM with Souls before summoning Rod, so Bystials won't be able to quick effect banish DM since you summoned DM when there were no monsters on the field and then use DM to fuse to DMtDK as quick as possible. The good thing is that in the current META, Bystials are not as prevalent as before. The Tear meta was unbearable.

I like when people add their commentary to their videos, a lot more engaging 😁
It's satisfying to see how you manage to develop the Dark Magician deck, usually the battle is over before they can reach their peak.
Thank you.

Oh, I forgot, I'm talking to a player in Diamond. Maybe I'm bad, sorry.
Thank you for the support! 👍🏼

That royal DMG 🤨
How do you feel about the new banlist? I'm glad Kash got hit a little bit since that is one of the decks I struggle against.

Bro what are talking about have you heard of lab before?
@@chewydimes6561 oh yeah, that's another one that needs to be checked.

How did you get that DMG alt art?
PC Mod
How do you deal with players banishing your cards with bystyals?
