Recombs cost gold and the material you get from disenchanting items in your town. The disenchanting takes real time and I have a hunch it will be the limiting factor when it comes to recombs.
i guess i just go for div card shifting on a nice linear t16 map i like, maybe atoll, and focusing on these league mechanic shrines that can be found on a map. i think i go for a summoner build because i have good experience with minions on linear/narrow maps. running essences is also always a good idea with minions, and i might try to play around with blight on the atlas. double annoint and the new oil will have great value!!!!!!!!!!!!! i might add something simple on top like strongboxes or exiles.
Surprised to see Explosive trap lower than PS Locust miner. I thought ET had higher numbers for bossing and had less of conditions to trigger than these kind of mines + with shrapnel mapping is smoother
Retaliation skills hit hard, but they also have a 3 or 4 second delay on them. So, when you do the math, they're hitting for about as hard as any one or the other, buffed up melee skills.
Delay can be lowered, you can also chain them, almost permanently. There are some caveats though like first block/proc (before you get lucky) and it's not zoom zoom style. Should be very comfortable though
Might not like to here it, but ultimatum might be the gold farming plus Alva. Monsters now drop loot, 1 13 round survive ultimatum will be giving a ton of monsters
I haven´t played PoE much. Played some D4 and thought Rogue is fun. I like mobility and high skill cap, don´t mind beeing squishy. Anything you would recommend as a starter this season for me?

Everyone saying that Recomb isn't as strong as Necropolis league... When I stopped playing Necropolis league I thought everyone was saying the mechanic was total crap. Did it get improved later in the league?
it was crappy in terms of the process of crafting...the power level was absolutely through the roof for certain crafts...could easily make a perfect ele or phys bow for instance...literally perfect. for 10 div i bought a triple T1 ele bow with all the mods i wanted...and everything was max rolled. it was insane.
Archmage will be good but tbh playing the same build doesn't really entice me(same with any bow builds). Gonna play bleed glad, should be decent and pretty fun. Wish me luck and hopefully league start is going to be good for everyone
Question since you played it. Is archmage fun throughout the leveling? I watched ziz video and he said it wasn't until he got the endgame setup going which if that's the case I don't even wanna try archmage cause I like builds you feel strong all the way till the end

Ziz is less min maxed for the endgame super investment part. You could start with zizz stuff and learn from Goratha the more min max stuff and ideas. Either way, for starting both are around the same logistics, playing the early stuff till you reach red maps.
Its there, A+ tier Ground Slm/EQ its a generic Slam build, you can fit 90% of slams in there and it will work, what amazes me is the fact that is a A+ tier, with those warcry + buff + Crushing fist, i expected a S+ tier.

It's a leaguestart tierlist not overall tier list. Leaguestart purpose is to complete atlas as fast as possible and to farm currency as efficiently as possible *for as cheap as possible*, so investing into defense is a waste of currency because 6 portal gaming is more efficient.
Im just shocked that ABSOLUTELY NO ONE EVEN MENTIONED dex stacking Hiero siege balista. I mean ffs, the most dumbest one button league starter that can get all 4 stones and can do ALL CONTENT IN THE GAME, and if you want to do bossing just switch to shrapnel balista and you can boss carry. I mean the most expensive piece you need is the split personality jewel, everything else is like 10c at best.

Just pick an ascendency, or even just a base class. With respecs for gold it's going to be easier than ever to change direction later on.
I went with a classic, the Ice Boi Hierophant, it works great and isn't experimental
