It is true. For the most part, foreigners are very honest and most the time, we don't care if it hurts someone's feelings. Honesty may hurt in the moment, but only if you see it as an insult rather than a way to improve on yourself.
Agree!. Improvements are only achieved by honest feedbacks. And how can a partner trust you, if you end up just lie to them repeatedly. But offcourse has to be considerate in HOW to say it. And still thank for the efforts. And maybe be lighthumour or smiling or joking or whatever which lightens the mood so it does not feel like a "punch". My girlfriend cooks very well. I will tell her when I don’t like something. For example I don’t like goat. It don’t like the smell when it’s being cooked and I don’t like the taste.
It’s also a simple thing that you don’t like. It doesn’t mean it’s not good. You have your preferences. There are certain things my wife loves to eat that I just simply don’t like and other things she doesn’t like that I can’t get enough of. To each their own. If she likes something she prepares it for her and she prepares something for me that I like. The ONE fruit I don’t like she eats and gives me the ones I like.

Pea, regarding people cutting in line, I don't hesitate to inform them where the line is. During the pandemic, I was in the line at SMHYPERMART and had been there for maybe 30 minutes. A man cut in line in front of me, and I told him the line was back there. He didn't like it, but he left when the security guard came over. Then, the Filipino man behind me tapped me on the back and said thank you. He made my day.
The rude behaviour is equally abhorrent and astounding to me. Being from the southern part of the US, it is our tradition to be polite and respectful to one another (in general). Here, there is little regard for personal space. No one holds the door for others. Filipinos drive their cars, trikes and motorbikes as if they exclusively own the road. Once, trying to exit the airplane in Manila, a sea of Filipinos pushed and shoved their way past my aisle, as if I did not exist. (In the US, we allow those ahead of us to exit, and then proceed, row by row)(. At the opposite row was an elderly Filipino woman who also wanted to de-plane. Noticing this, I forced my way into the line, stopped the flow, and invited the woman to go ahead. She was stunned, but thanked me. I vowed that the first person who said one rude word to me would be subjected to a dressing down. Worst example: during Catholic Mass (of all circumstances), the same horrid behaviour. It's supposedly a Christian country. Haven't they read about the last will be first, and the first will be last? It seems that, in groups, the Filipino is just plain awful. One-on-one, they are sweet, kind, and sincere. Go figure!?
My father always went for a drive if he was mad, this gave him time to cool off. He said that he did this so he would not say anything that he would regret.
My goodness! These ladies are so sweet, my teeth are rotting from just watching! Walang kalokohan! Thanks, Miss Pea. Every one of the worst things are true. Unfortunately. It was the hardest thing for me to slow down after retirement, but having a Filipina in my life really helped. I never was a fighter tho. Yup, I have no issue walking up to a lady and saying something along the lines of You're smile is a like a shooting star streaking across the multiverse. The only difference is your smile will last a lifetime, but the stars beauty will last a moment.
I would agree with the "talking to loud" comment. As an American myself, it is annoying when you see others behaving this way in public. Especially when traveling overseas. Of course, common sense is hard to come by here in the US.

Married in the US 25 years to a beautiful Filipina. I am very caring and honest with her and try to have a sense of humor about things. She may say I don’t like clutter or leaving things out that are just as easy to put back where they belong. But that’s really nothing when compared to our happy life. I thank my lucky stars every day❤️.
Hi 👋🏿 Pea 🫛👋🏿☺️. Thank you 🙏🏿 for this informative video. I enjoyed hearing the ladies perspectives both positive and not so positive where foreigners are concerned. I definitely took mental notes 😊😉.
Thank you again Pea. I've made a lot of progress since moving to the Philippines from the states with my filipina wife in 2022. I'm always looking for ways I can improve myself here in my new home.
Actually in some countries oin the west saying something like " good morning " is not as common anymore as it used to be. Plenty of people just prefer to look the other way even if you just try seek eye contact and when you smile you even get funny looks. Only old people seem to still have some politeness. That's why i find it quite refreshing when i come to the Philippines and i get greeted by people on the street. Even someone calling to me with "Hey Joe, where are you going ? " would put a smile on my face. can't wait to get back there next year. 😊😊
That is basically meaningless because what is even a "foreigner" after all? We are talking about anyone of those 194 countries besides the Philippines in the 195 countries and territories recognized by the United Nations. But I know, by "foreigners" you just mean western foreigners and WHITE western foreigners. Even so we are talking about too many different cultures here. For instance, one of the questions raised is that if the Filipinos or the "foreigners" talk louder in public spaces. A Swedish or a Fin would be very quite. An Italian probably would be more boisterous. But I know we are NOT only talking about white western foreigners but about the TYPE of white western foreigners that generally goes after women in Southeast Asia. The pool is quite more restricted in this case, because they are in general quite... peculiar. Not even a good representative of the West in general. But still quite a lot of different cultural background.
@JohnnyLynnLee Is this meant as a response to what i said ? Just asking because you could've put this comment as a standalone for others to respond to. I was just commenting on something one of those ladies said.
@@Taiko206 I'm agreeing with what you said and going even further on the FACT that the generalizations about '"foreigners"" in this video don't even make sense. It's not just, as you've said, "in some countries in the West they say "good morning" and in others don't." To begging with you ASSUMED it means " the West", as we all, but in fact they are talking about "foreigners". A JAPANESE in the Philippines is also a foreigner.
@@Taiko206 For instance I'm a Brazilian. In the Philippines I'd be a FOREIGNER. And Brazilians are not like Americans or Europeans. And I'm not like all Brazilians as well. We don't even like Americans much down here. As MANY in the Philippines as well. As the protests in front of the US embassy in this May Day showed. They want the troops out. She is SELLING A PRODUCT. She is talking about an SPECIFIC type of Filipinos and an specific type of Westerners. But even within this limited (and quite extravagant) pool there's still a LOT of differences. She's praying n INCELS and redpills and he likes, like in her video specifically appealing to their delusion of being "sigma male" and all this pseudoscience involving the so called "menosphere". It's a very limited world. But even inside this l9imited world those generalizations don't make sense.
Thank You Pea, Lovely Ladies. I always wanted to visit Dumaguete, but I never made it that far, I retired at 52, I’m now 67 , I’ve been married now to a Filipina for two years now. It is great to be noticed when I’m out in public in the Philippines by the Ladies, Filipinos are very kind and pleasant people. I can only make one woman happy and she’s so easy to please. Life Is Good In The Philippines.
I read a travel advisory last night that advised against travel to the Phillipines and Thailand. Said Americans may be attacked. I guess China has been pirating ships off the coast. A Filipino lost a finger in the attack. President talking about acts of war. Is it safe?
Being blunt but saying it in a way that can be both understood, received, and helpful in both good things and bad things...that's what all people should strive to do.
I can't take a long break for a siesta.. I like to work and be done so I can enjoy the evening and relax. It gets hot here in Oklahoma as well. Infact yesterday it was 108F where I was. But I will say the Philippines are looking better and better with each video I watch!
This is an essential video for those of us, who sincerely care about how we are perceived as Guests within another person's Home. It would seem as though most of this is common sense but upon reflection it also shows areas where we can all improve. I strive to especially improve in the areas I am lacking because just as the people we encounter overseas are representations of the places they reside in, we are also representations of the people and places we left. For a lot of these people we meet overseas, we may be the only nationality from that country that they will ever meet. We can dispel some of the myths and stereotypes people see within movies and television as well. First impressions are always lasting impressions. Great Video, Pea. You are VERY CLOSE to 300K subscribers with 1M just on the horizon. Keep up the Great Work and take care of yourself and take those siestas...!
Hey Pea... Good morning from California another good video thanks... I've been to the Philippines many times with my church doing projects but maybe I need to make a trip there just for myself I watch your videos and everybody is so nice and that's how I remember the Philippines maybe the friendliest country in the world
Hello, Pea 😊Very wonderful and very interesting video. Even though every foreigner is different, I enjoyed watching and listening to the young women there giving their perspective. Thank you for sharing 😊
I don't know where most of the people who comment live but in the state of New Jersey holding a door open for someone coming out of or into an establishment is common, complete with a thank you! That applies to all races and nationalities! Love your videos Pea, if anything it reminds me that I live in the greatest country in the world!
I was always taught to open the door for others (regardless of gender). It totally throws my Filipina wife for a loop when I open the car door for her. For a lot of western guys I know who are also married to Filipinas, old-school chivalry is a sort of love language for us. We're treated so incredibly well by our Filipina wives, that something as basic as opening a door or holding an umbrella over them in the rain is just a small way of saying thank you for the amazing way they treat us.
Thank you very much for your reply. I guess my feelings were just a little bit hurt. But I’m over it Wishing you success continued grade success in your blogs.
Another great video! As a foreigner (USA) married to a Filipina this is an extremely valuable video for people to be or become acutely aware of: Most Filipinas Have a very delicate and extremely caring personality. You will find that you cannot behave around them as you would a western woman, because you don't need to, you can throw all of that out the window. A Filipina is not going to test your limits constantly like most western women do. Other words they don't go out of their way to pull out the beast in you. In other words if something they do may get you slightly perturbed occasionally it is never meant to. Just let it go, let them be themselves. Your attitude: Keep it up-beat and positive And aware and gentle with your words and behavior, it is very easy to hurt their feelings by little comments or remarks that are even a slightly negative nature. They are very gentle delicate and generous completely unlike western women and they deserve mountains of respect and appreciation. Be very careful and thoughtful on how you treat others around your Filipina don't be rude to people, just be quiet and suck it up let it go. It is very embarrassing to them to be with someone who is rude to others even though the others may deserve it, let it go. If you have anger management issues, stay away from Filipinas, they deserve better than you. Don't bring your poison onto them. It is very hurtful for them to be around people like that. Don't get upset with little things that you can't control, a slow checkout line, traffic, long red lights etc. don't be a complainer around your Filipina . Again they are extremely sensitive and it is very easy to hurt their feelings and you won't know it totally unlike Western women who will start complaining right back to you until it winds up into a big argument, Filipinas are not like that at all. It will make them feel very bad and sad so be very careful with your general behavior and words and actions. If you get angry around your Filipina even though it's not directed at her at all she will take it as if it is. It is very hurtful for them to see you angry and I think they think that they might have done something to cause it or add to it so avoid outbursts. Everything I'm saying culminates into one thing: self improvement; Changing your behavior if it's not already there, will make you a better person on a broad scale like you should always try to be anyway... a Filipina will make you a better person, a more thoughtful person, a more kind and gentle person which we should all try to become anyway. They are in no way anything like western women and that is why they are so incredible and lovable. Beautiful? They're just born that way, all of them.
Great points you made here. As a fellow American foreigner it’s sometimes embarrassing what others foreigners do in the 🇵🇭. Most of them wouldn’t do some of the despicable acts in their own countries. Thanks for sharing great points 👌🏾.
Yes, wish that PH actually enforced their moral laws and started to deport most of the Angeles clients and similar breed of foreigners. And also some of the yt communities are sadly just toxic.

Hello again Beautiful Pea. Your USA Buddy checking in again and enjoying yet another video... Your videos are always entertaining and make me want to take time to enjoy and smile no matter how busy I am at work. Looking forward to your Friday "new topic" update! Serving up some more hot content I am certain! Take good car of you Pea..... And another cocktail coming your way.....
The Filipino Pea Your content is excellent I love this topic because it's good.To know the difference between our 2 countries and the 2 people and the main thing is to respect each other. And get to know each other and what each other needs in a relationship and give it to Each other It's important to respect someone else's time. It's important to respect other people's culture. We're all on different times would do things differently. It's important to know that and know it will not probably never change. Being on time is a very big thing for me. But if I'm with someone that is not on time, I have to adjust that too if I'm in the country or whatever you know, it's just something you have to do now. If you're going to work, you need to be on time. You know and depend on where you are if you're in the philipains. Just fall in love with everybody else. Does whatever they do? You do if you're in the United States. Depending on where you are just depends on what you're at. That's all. I can say just be respectful of each other and traditions in. How things go and everything else will be fine. We can be different and still make it work. That's what makes life worth living is you know. Somebody, if you're being somebody has the same tracing you, it wouldn't be as fun. You also might as well have a different so you can learn from them and make them learn from you. That's what makes that's what makes the world go around Filipino One more thing before I go. It's so good to have. Someone actually loves you like I feel like a Filipino. Does and have enough water that loves you as well? That's faithful and loyal. Those are the things that bought you 2 together. And that's what we'll keep you together and your faith in God. So everything is that part of the relationship is the most Philippine and Pete have a great day.I'll see you on the next video.Thank you My name is cedric nash i'm your number one fan
Aww, I love my personal projects though, keeps my mind sharp and I get to make stuff with my hands. But a nap in the day? Hmmm, maybe some of those projects can wait... 😄
Way to go once again a really great informative video because as for my self I'm guilty early me and my girlfriend relationship as I gladly react in what she considers reaction so I can get out of my state of mind and see filipina life from another point of view. Thanks again Ms Pea huge great job to you and still some humor added in never hurts. You really have a gift in doing all your videos
Great Content I enjoyed this one as much as the one you did on best and worst of the Filipinas. My Filipina girlfriend and her family and friends said a lot of the same things when we talked about it on my recent visit with them. Haha they said I am a rare foreigner that very patient and go with the flow of things In the province and my shocking love of my Filipina preparation and cooking of stinky fish and trying all their Filipina foods they make. Keep up the great content and look forward to more informative content it has helped me out and given me brownie points with my Filipina and her family with my awareness of their culture and how I interact with the culture.
It’s nice to see how Filipinas perceive us Miss Pea. As an American I have seen some very rude behavior by some Americans. Sometimes I can see how we are perceived as the Ugly American. Most are on good behavior in a foreign country. We have to remember we are the guest. I have noticed how little things like opening a door or saying good morning are so appreciated in the Philippines. I’m wondering what the answers would have been if you asked these questions of a few guys. Great video as always Miss Pea.
Great video! I've never been to the Philippines, but as an American who spent a couple of years in Latin America, I've heard some of these things. I like to approach cultural differences more from the angle of, "What is something that I can learn from these people?" For example, I know that most Americans (like you guys talked about) very much believe that time is money. So we generally hate wasting other peoples' time; that's a good thing. We also don't want other people wasting our time either, and that's not bad, but one thing we Americans could learn from some Latin American cultures (and apparently from Filipinos)is to use more tact and diplomacy when someone is trying our patience, or to lighten up a little about time when experiencing a culture that values life enjoyment, relationships, and human interaction a little more than efficiency. This approach can help Americans enjoy their time abroad more and can help us avoid offending our gracious host cultures. ❤

I really enjoy the content of this channel. Its not just informative, but the topics are on subjects that everyone really want to hear about but are reluctant to speak openly about. But i wouldn't be totally honest if i didn't admit to also watching just to see Pea! My God, I've never seen a woman who dresses so beautifully and is so comfortable in her own skin. Her mannerisms are soo damn sexy....NOT BECAUSE OF HER LOOKS. But rather for the way she carries herself. I can't help but notice her posture...the way she sits....crosses her legs.....smiles....Pea is elegance personified in my humble opinion. Js

Don’t stop what you’re doing because you’re gorgeous to look at as well as very talented with your style of reporting. No matter the topic !! I wish you continued success and I always look forward to your next video.
Thanks Michael 👍❤️
Great Video Pea, I was quite distracted by how long and Beautiful your hair is.
As long as you’re watching my video, feel free to decide where to put your eyes 🤣❤️
@@TheFilipinaPea Amazing how Philipina Women are so sweet!
That was fun. Great job Pea. Gold top is my bias for sure, but also looks like trouble!
Love your channel watch you all the time. Thank you for your insights. Love you.
Ms. Pea, Which one am I ?
" I'm 'Easy' like Sunday Morning", at least on UA-cam ;
Smart Lady and your Crew
Tks., much appreciative.
🤣🤣🤣👍
11:13 I LOVE YOU!!! I hate always working--and you hit the NAIL ON THE HEAD on that one!
Really good answers from your people on the street!
Thank you again Pea. I've made a lot of progress since moving to the Philippines from the states with my filipina wife in 2022. I'm always looking for ways I can improve myself here in my new home.
❤️❤️❤️👍
Actually in some countries oin the west saying something like " good morning " is not as common anymore as it used to be. Plenty of people just prefer to look the other way even if you just try seek eye contact and when you smile you even get funny looks. Only old people seem to still have some politeness. That's why i find it quite refreshing when i come to the Philippines and i get greeted by people on the street. Even someone calling to me with "Hey Joe, where are you going ? " would put a smile on my face. can't wait to get back there next year. 😊😊
🤣🤣🤣❤️👍
Another Pea and Lucy on the Street Viedo. These are so well done. Appreciate your time and effort in making this viedo. Awesome 👌.
THANKS John! We had fun making this one 👍😊
Hi FP
I really enjoy your videos.
You have a great personality, and you are a great interviewer.
It’s a bonus that you are easy on the eyes.
Your interviews are very fun to watch
Thanks Jason! 😊👍
Is it safe?
good video, really can help both foreigners and filipinas understand each other better.
Being blunt but saying it in a way that can be both understood, received, and helpful in both good things and bad things...that's what all people should strive to do.
This was an entertaining video! Thanks
I can't take a long break for a siesta.. I like to work and be done so I can enjoy the evening and relax. It gets hot here in Oklahoma as well. Infact yesterday it was 108F where I was. But I will say the Philippines are looking better and better with each video I watch!
Great video pea 😊 foreigners are kind
Yes, it’s always helpful to know how you’re perceived 👍👍👍
Hey Pea... Good morning from California another good video thanks... I've been to the Philippines many times with my church doing projects but maybe I need to make a trip there just for myself I watch your videos and everybody is so nice and that's how I remember the Philippines maybe the friendliest country in the world
❤️❤️❤️👍
Hello, Pea 😊Very wonderful and very interesting video. Even though every foreigner is different, I enjoyed watching and listening to the young women there giving their perspective. Thank you for sharing 😊
The Pea is just the Cooolest EVER!!
I don't know where most of the people who comment live but in the state of New Jersey holding a door open for someone coming out of or into an establishment is common, complete with a thank you! That applies to all races and nationalities! Love your videos Pea, if anything it reminds me that I live in the greatest country in the world!
I always do myself for anyone, guy or girl. I don’t open the car door for anyone though to me that’s a little ridiculous.
Very good video Vlog Sounds about right well done Thank you🇬🇧
I was always taught to open the door for others (regardless of gender).
It's good to see people recognize the positive attributes of foreigners!
Thanks Pea!
Oh yes, we sure do 👍😊
Thank you very much for your reply.
I guess my feelings were just a little bit hurt. But I’m over it
Wishing you success continued grade success in your blogs.
That was great.. Pea, I laughed my ass off the whole time. YOUR CONTENT ROCKS!!!!!
Beautiful, intelligent and honest.
Naps are a good thing. I like hearing how other countries view Americans, and your street interviews are always wonderful
Interesting.... I would love to share my perspective
This video reenforced my positive mindset about the Philippines. And the women so good both inside and out you did it again. Thank you.
What a gem of a channel, new to this. So much to take in lol
Thank you for sharing this content!
As always, you are the best and funny 🎉
Another great video! As a foreigner (USA) married to a Filipina this is an extremely valuable video for people to be or become acutely aware of:
Most Filipinas Have a very delicate and extremely caring personality.
Really well done Pea. Thank you for sharing.
Thankyou Pea. Another very interesting video. Well done.
Thanks Rona! 😊😊
Well u certainly r a Sweet Pea! 😉 ❤ all the Best! 2 u! n GodBless! from blazen paul 👍👋✌️
Afternoon naps are great. Good energy in this video
I need an afternoon nap right about now 🤣
Hi. I have watched you since before you had 1000 subs before I came here. In this video I see we were at the market on the same day😊. I see myself in one of your backgrounds. Keep up the great content! You are one of the best vloggers here. Always interesting.
Really? You’re in a Pea video!!! 🤣🤣👍
Yes, but in the distance. Keep up the good work.
11:38 yeah I agree, that's why Americans age harder than Filipinas. I vote for that law, We need an afternoon nap to recharge.
Pea I love your hair, I appreciate your videos
Great video! Next time please tell us about Jollibee vs the most elegant food in PH.
Probably not much difference 🤣
Hi Pea another Fun Video good work 👍👍👍👍

Another entertaining video! The young lady in yellow with her purse caught my eye. 😃
👍😍👍😊
I’m glad that my pinay friends understand that i don’t want to brag but helping them to understand where i come from and i learned a lot how i could do things better, i hope i can improve someone else’s life, too. Not saying you do that wrong!! But maybe it’s easier to do it this way
Hello again Beautiful Pea. Your USA Buddy checking in again and enjoying yet another video... Another great video, Pea! Thank you!
Thank YOU, mister JPL 😊❤️👍
THANKS PEA GOOD INFO TO KNOW AND FUNNY
Someone has been lying to the young lady about traffic in America. It’s brutal in the big cities
We love fried food but in vegetable oil it is very unhealthy. if you deep fry in beef fat or lard it is good and healthy
Good job Pea. I love your woman on the street interviews. Stay Awesome.
Thanks Wulf! 👍
Thanks Pea, a fun, interesting video as always. Eagerly awaiting the next episode.
Thanks Mike! I’ll bring you something new and different 👍
Great job pea… amazing video about Filipinas perspective ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks Mario! I enjoyed making it 👍😊
You always find the
Most Beautiful girls!!!
Just want to also..support the Thumb nail~ I love nice ladies, in a nice way!
45 shoe size 👣, it was hard to find new shoes in the Philippines... 🇵🇭
Can't wait to be back!
Your hair is so very lovely. Also I liked the subject. This was cute.
Aww, I love my personal projects though, keeps my mind sharp and I get to make stuff with my hands.
But a nap in the day? Hmmm, maybe some of those projects can wait... 😄
You can Always Trust The Pea ! She is always entertaining ,but on the level and 100% on the money ...first time ...everytime !!!
THANKS Curtis 👍👍😊❤️
Great Content I enjoyed this one as much as the one you did on best and worst of the Filipinas. My Filipina girlfriend and her family and friends said a lot of the same things when we talked about it on my recent visit with them. Haha they said I am a rare foreigner that very patient and go with the flow of things In the province and my shocking love of my Filipina preparation and cooking of stinky fish and trying all their Filipina foods they make. Keep up the great content and look forward to more informative content it has helped me out and given me brownie points with my Filipina and her family with my awareness of their culture and how I interact with the culture.
You survived the stinky fish?
Amazing! Kudos 🤣🤣🤣👍
Wow, i like this episode every entertaining pea, and the ladies are friendly to approach too, need one
Thanks Christopher! 👍👍😊
I rarely have issues with Americans - most of you are very nice 👍❤️
Good morning my friend Pea. Have a great day !!
You too, Joseph! ❤️👍
You’re up late. lol.
Wow that first Filipina spoke English so well!
👍👍👍
But her tattoos have lowered her chances of being taken seriously by the type of man she wants to keep her.
@@USA_to_Asia_in_2024 Giant red flag for me. Good English, tattoo, tons of makeup, openly talks about private parts... definitely been with plenty of foreigners. Pass.
Now the 4th chick, killer charm.
Because she dated several Western men
@@USA_to_Asia_in_2024 I'd have zero problems with it
I really enjoy the content of this channel.
Js
