- Springtime means that it is time to start hatching some baby chicks! Hatching your chicks at home is very easy if you have the right equipment. Today, I will take you through collecting fertilized eggs, incubating them, and then moving the new babies to the brooder.

Neat incubator. One addition the mfr can do on next model is add a sealable hatch to get the early birds out.
Little ones are so cute.
👍😇❤🙏GREAT VIDEO TODD...THE chicks are looking GREAT...GOD IS TOTALLY AWESOME IN HIS CREATION....AMEN 🙏
Thanks for sharing. Love your videos.
You should name one of the chick Bloody Mary 2.
The 360 is my favorite incubator so far. Side note, chicken love to peck. And they eat the rest of the yolk before hatching out, so they can survive shipping lol. I think this is the process that causes the egg chipping. Helping to remove the shell inhibits natural process…
My hen is sitting on guinea eggs now plus one chicken egg. 5 days in.
That was a great video, Sir! Always love your content and especially the chickens! What is the breed of the black and white variety? They are beautiful!
Hi I have some questions! So my family and I are starting to want to do this for the first time so another video but a few of my questions went unanswered the rest of the info was great.
When putting the eggs in the rotators do we need a specific side to go in? Either pointy part of the egg up or down?
Other question should we wait for all eggs to hatch before tranferring them to a brooder ooor take each out as they hatch completely?
Lastly at what percentage of humidity should the incubator be at?
TIA hope to hear back from you soon! 🙏🏻😬
YAI (yet another incubator)
Is it only on my end, or is there no audio?
I have audio. 👍🏼
I just checked and it seems ok when I play it from this side. Anyone else having issues?
I have audio! Greetings from the ozark mountains! Arkansas side!
Sorry, it was my phone. Did a Hard Reset, and now I have audio.
Crazy how I had audio on the previous video, but as soon as I switched here, no mas Tomas. 🤷🏻♂️
why not let the chickens do it themselves? your chickens are good brooders
Have you ever thought about hatching geese. I hear they are great guardian animals for all the animals.
Have you ever had twins hatch?
Great question! I usually only get double yolks from very young hens. Usually not fertile yet but I’d love to try incubation on one 👍🏻
I use paper towel instead of chips for the first 5-7 days because they will peck at chips and fill their gizzard which is not good. I supply a budgie bird sand in a small jar lid, and they can fill up with that. Change to baby chick gravel later on. Google online for details.
Fantastic!!! Thank you 🙏💕
If eggs made it 18 days why do they need an incubator for last 3???
Heat retention, extra humidity and draft protection. Hens provide these so must we.
? Can you do duck eggs? Looks to small
Thank you for sharing :)
Duck eggs would be too big
