  • Gelatin + Leche Flan = Jelly Flan.. mixing Gelatin and Leche flan makes a delicious dessert. It's cheaper and makes more than leche flan... I'll show you how i make my version of Jelly Flan :)
    INGREDIENTS
    -light brown sugar for caramelization
    -5 egg yolks
    -370ml evaporated milk
    -390ml condensed milk
    -25g yellow unflavored jelly powder
    -7cups water
    -about 1/4cup light brown sugar.

      Yup.. the gelatin sets this jelly flan rather than leche flan that requires careful steaming to set :) please like and share :)

    I was annoyed I tried this but the gelatin didn't set cos of too much water - 7 CUPS!!!!.

      I used 7cups coz that's what the instruction on the gelatin pack I used.. it will set after about 2hours.. did you follow the instructions on your gelatin pack and waited about 2hours for it to set??

      I tried it and it became better because it isnt too hard like gulaman and does not taste much as gulaman . it tasted as a combination of both.

    bket parang iba nman po yung texture nung sa pag hiwa nyo po? parang creamy yung flan? kasi ung ginawa ko jelly tlga yung texture nya, bkt po sainyo iba?

    ilang days bago masira ang leche flan na nasa ref? Yung iba kasi sabi 2 to 3 days lang. Iba naman abot ng 2 weeks. Salamat po sa sasagot

      light brown sugar po... hmmn.. cge abangan nyo na lang po ung updated version nyan.. gagawa po ako. pero sa caramelization tingin ko 3tbsp light brown sugar.. pero ung sa mismong baka 1/4 to 1/2cup light brown sugar po..

    Ask lng po chef fern... pwede po ba while eggs ang ilagay instead na yolk lng? Nde po ba masira ang lasa ng recipe mo? Sayang kasi ang whites eh.. hehehe.
