- Get ready for Time Team's next new 3-part dig!
We've chosen a spectacular location for a very special dig. It's Time Team's 30th birthday and we are celebrating in style...
Time Team heads to Wytch Farm, in the shadow of Corfe Castle, Dorset, where Derek and Lawrence discovered two Iron Age burials back in 2021. They've called in the full team to investigate. Was this a cemetery, and how long have people been living here? Where were they living, and, above all, what were their livelihoods?
Will we uncover the secrets of Wytch Farm? We have just three days to find out!
Join us for the official three-part premiere, right here on the Time Team Official UA-cam channel:
Day One: Friday 17th May, 7pm BST: • New Episode | Day 1: S...
Day Two: Saturday 18th May, 7pm BST: • New Episode | Day 2: S...
Day Three: Sunday 19th May, 7pm BST: • New Episode | Day 3: S...

Oh my, I can´t believe it is 30 years ago I sat down to watch this new show called Time Team and from the very first episode I was hooked! I am really looking forward to this, I think I shall celebrate by watching the very first episode again tonight,! The only change, Instead of Dawlish next Teignmouth (where I watched in person the wreck episode) I am now watching in my home by the Danube here in Austria.
🇨🇦That surprised me too! 30 yrs! We are lucky to still have it around!! You watched the wreck episode in person! Lucky you!!
Can't believe it's been thirty years since the first episode. Sat down as a family of parents, children and grandchildren, eager to see what was happening, and so happy you could have heard a pin drop.
Greetings and many, many thanks to Time Team past and present from North Lorne, Argyll.
Is it only 30 years! I remember sitting down with my parents to watch Time Team and I’m 55.
@@AvaT42 It was great, I still remember it as if it was yesterday! What part of Canada are you from? I lived in BC for 16 years before moving to Austria.
@@ianmedium I am in northern Ontario, about a 5hr drive north from Toronto.
Happy birthday Time Team! I can't wait to see the new episodes.
"Fog? What is that?"
" That's when it's not raining!"
Asterix and the Britons ^^
Happy birthday Time Team and congratulations to all involved in 30 years of hard work and dedication. You may be aging but you are definitely keeping your audience young at heart. Cheers from Canada.
I have watched the time team since it’s inception and can’t believe it’s 30 years ago. That makes me an old lady now which is fine and I’m still watching it and loving it. Thank you so much time Team well done to everyone new and old.❤❤❤❤👏👏👏🇦🇺
30 years already… Congrats, Time Team, and cheers, dear friends.
Happy Birthday, Time Team!
Happy Birthday Time Team 🍺🍺🎂🎂
Awesome, looking forward to the new episode. Time Team train choo choos forward. :)
Blimey. Takes me back to 1987, Furzey Island digs, staying in Corfe and walking the pipeline route and rescue archaeology on the Wareham bypass. Happy days.
Awesome! I love how I've watched every episode more than once and can still watch them again.. it's like therapy. Thanks so much to all who make Time Team happen.
Yes, it was therapy for me during the pandemic and still brings me to a good place when I need calm.
Great trailer.
Happy birthday Timeteam. Of course it would rain, classic lol ❤
30 years, eh !? and I've been with you all the way.
Congratulations all involved, past & present 🎈🎂🎉
Oh looks great! Looking forward to it 😊
I am so excited for this!!! Thank you Time Team!
Fantastic. What a place! Can't wait to see it all..
That looks like a fantastic episode, and I'm eager to watch!
Happy 30th birthday
🥳 Fan-tastic !!
How exciting! Please find more locations related to time team regulars. I love when the team has a connection to a site.
Oo, exciting!❤
Happy 30th!!!!
Thanks.
I recently stumbled across the 20th anniversary 'Special'! I hope both 'Time Team' and myself are still around when it's potentially the 40th anniversary show. Thanks for all the great memories and may I raise a glass to many more episodes in the future. RIP Mick Aston and all those who have contributed to our enjoyment over the years but have now passed on.
That couldn't have been said better! Thank you!
Time Team has battled Mother Nature for 30 years...🌧
can't wait!
Hey, I've stayed at that camp site!
Argh I can not wait. I’d join Patreon if I could afford it. I love Time team
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
🎉🎉🎉
For my next big birthday I'm gonna go dig some holes in the place I grew up. Of course, we might hit a gas line or three, maybe some sewer pipes, or - god forbid - internet fiber, but I'm sure we'll find something interesting.
Dial before you dig 😂 But otherwise enjoy your exploration.
Always wondered where the grew witches...
There was no money in it though....
It promises to be a magical site ......
I'll get my coat. 😁
30 years I thought. 2004 seems longer than than. Derp.
30 yrs since i graduated high school 🤷♂️
I loved time team.
The main driving factor of me studying for 4 years for my Bachelors degree.
& for me then hating the show.
Its mostly bollcks.
Why do you always point out that the excavations last 3 days, we are not fools and understand that this is clearly not enough?
With the NEW Time Team follow up can now be done on dig sites, and is...
It's the Time Team "tag-line".
Have you never seen a commercial on the television for a specific product that has a well-known jingle or slogan?
Well then...
ITS LITERALLY THEIR HOOK!
SMH
30 years of it and you still dont get the concept
they have 3 days so that they HAVE to hurry!
if you want to watch someone who's had 30 years to dig a hole, thats every OTHER archeology channel...
help yourself
fill your boots..
Sergey, clearly you don't understand the fundamental premise, even after 30 years. Are you sure you are not a fool?
@@MckIdyll The premise is that only an idiot has been watching the same channel for 30 years. Are you an idiot by any chance?
Someone tell the presenter that his obvious fear of the camera results in hysterically over-emphasised gestures at one a second pace that spoil the message. He is not a natural. Send him on a course?
Stop bullying people doing their job. Gus is doing just fine and doesn't need your rude input - not to mention he literally has an OBE for his work in lecturing and communicating science.
The only issue I have with Gus's style is he comes over as little too sincere. That said the recent Mobery episodes suggested that the 'new' members of the team are getting more relaxed. I occasionally stumble over early shows and everyone is a bit wooden (Carenza especially) whilst Tony's slightly manic presenting jars compared to the 'Classics' we get on the other channel.
@@classicambo9781 Sometimes and for some people, the job of presenter just isn't "their" job. I'm sure in conversation, or in his role at V&A East he's a different, more confident and relaxed person. Presenting is a particular skill and he just does not have that indefinable something that separates the good from the bad.
