I did my test a year ago and didn't apply for my smart driving license. I just checked my portal the other day and only found the renew licence option. My status is valid , so I'm just asking how I can get my smart driving licence. Thank you Cate
Hello Pius, sorry to hear that. When you click on renew, what option do you get? If the option is Virtual red book 1 year only, then it means that you have the old driving license and you can apply for a SMART DL but if it gives a SMART DL option, it means you have one. In order to help you, send us a message on Whatsapp @ 254-113-091-074. Alternatively, you can text NTSA on Twitter. Please DM them, don't share your private info directly and they will assist you.
You delayed on applying for interime,,coz if you take more than 4 months without applying they remove you from the system and you have to do the exams again

Hello Bena, once you pass your exams, you will be able to apply for your interim and pay for it. After that the option to pay for a SMART DL should be available immediately on the NTSA Portal.

If I have applied for smart driving licence then I pay and forget to click complete button and the money has gone what should I do
Call NTSA, they are very responsive when you call them and they will update your DL to reflect payment.

I downloaded the interim but my photo is horizontal .is it still okay that way
Hello, it's okay since that's how the photo was uploaded. An interim is only valid for 6 months so don't worry about it.
