    I just have one question. Suppose for the case of accelerating gear train, what will be inertia for equations, sum of torque=I *alpha...
    I think this equation is individual to each gear ...not the whole gear train... pls correct me if i am wrong

    Just one question anyone feel free to answer ?
    If the whole system is mounted on a rotating shaft ( not powered by the motor which is giving power to the sun gear, its a different motor for the whole system ). In this case weather the output RPM from the carrier shaft will change because of the fact that now whole gearbox is in motion.
    Note : the complete gearbox housing and the internal system ( i.e sun gear ) both are rotating clockwise.

    in gate 2020 one question was asked on gear train, how does both sun and ring gear rotate in same direction with w_arm not equal to zero

    Sir , Net Torque is zero due to zero angular acceleration . How angular acceleration is zero in the planetary Gear train ??

      Bro, angular velocities of each rotating bodies about the same axis are constant. So angular acceleration of the whole system about the same central axis is zero
