As usual, another, very practical, review. To be sure, a big lens, however if you want long reach, and the speed required, these are the prices paid- not an issue. Only downside is Sigma's continued L series drive. This mount is incompatible with the Fujis I own and ,obviously for my Sony a6400 and a6000. Tbh, now that our 4 sons are way past playing sport, not too sure how much use these long legged lens would see? Fwiw, tend to shoot wider ,however an 84 1.4,or now 135mm for close up shots would be of use, if the price points were sane! Be interested to see comparison between the clearly excellent, relatively new Sigma 18-50 and the equally top notch Tamron 18-70. These are truly compelling choices for new Fuji ,particularly 2nd hand, buyers, at it would seem reasonable to believe that these will make inroads into Fuji's excellent native glass sales. We shall see.
I bought this bad boy for Sony and I absolutely love it! Has a mega close minimum focus distance at 180mm, very versatile!!!
Brilliant James! Good to hear
Wow wish I could afford one what a beast
Look like a beast of a lens. Yup I want it.
Yess
