Kubota GR1600 vibration, play in the shaft on the gearbox/rear axle.. found the bearing collapsed

Played with something like this as a Kid ; it was called a "Tinker-toy Set". lt might need a few MORE rubber-bands to "Fix it".

Any oil leakage when you looked? mines pissing oil. Had any of the drives, either main or cutter failed?

No just the prop drive mate

Hello, got a gr2120, it also got play on the input shaft, is it a difficult repair. I can see it's a lot of work to get to it 😢

Yeah fair bit involved to strip it down, it’s not too bad if your fairly confident doing bits like that

@@diydaly yeah it's not my first time holding a wrench. But never opened a Kubota 😅. Now that you changed the bearing on the input shaft, does it still have some play? I see different videos of people and it seems they all have some tolerable play.
