when i heard just "information" i thought this album was going really commercial. then i listened to the rest of the album and it was the dredg i've become to know and love.
@Scarface066 You are right about though. Far more poppier than their last albums. But they lyrics are still there in some of the tracks. With the new albums coming out this year, i hope they take it back a little bit to the older days. It took me some getting use to with this album and then I saw the dredg I know and love. I hope it doesn't take as many tries this new album.
Poppier? I don't hear any electronic beats or overexposure on the radio 24/7? Do you mean there's too much emphasis on the hooks, because there's way too many alternative sounds in this song to consider it Pop. lol
Dredge has a large mainstream following, but then again so do a lot of other talented artists. (ehh, guess I've always saw poppy as electronic beats and unskilled singers ranging from the ages of 20-30.) lol
Really? I was kinda weirded out at how poppy and bland Information sounded (to me). I gave the rest of the album of a chance, and thought it was just an extension of their catchier style from Catch Without Arms which I thought was good, but not great.. This is a decent album in my opinion, but I honestly expected more from a band that made masterpieces like Leitmotif and El Cielo. :l
I disagree. I think El Cielo is a good prog rock album... but thats it. Pariah is their masterpiece. It combines prog, pop, alternative, art rock, and electronic into something completely original.
Please put this album on Spotify or amazon music :(
I wish there was a love button for this song... or this album... or this band.
great song, underrated band
This is a great album.
Such a deep song.. love it.
This album is great, was their best and most orignal. But nobody believes it.
Thats the story

You storm the castle,
Fight a dragon...
..
Sword In hand, alone you stand.
She never needed you

Nobody believes it, because El Cielo is light years better and more original than this album. :P
