Interesting video! Always nice to see different perspectives on this journey! 💖 I’ve found that sisterlocks have actually thickened my edges. It’s probably because I’ve left them alone whereas before; I would always apply edge control which was restricting growth.
Yes everyone's really is different and always so pretty! That's great though and makes sense, I'm still trying to gather mine back. But that's the good part about sisterlocks definitely is not having to manipulate your hair too much, allowing it to do it's own thing,
💕🌸 your sister locs look great! I am now extremely tender-headed and can barely wear any updos. But other than that, BEST decision I've made for my hair.
I highly recommend doing a hair detox prior to getting sisterlocs. I had stopped using products after my detox. Even with that I itched for the first week but as mine loosened up the itch went away
Thanks for your review! I’m about to get my establishment next month and sooo happy I stumbled across your video because your starter hair looks like mine…Same density and texture. To look at your locks now is AMAZING and gives me hope❤
I have Microlocs that I installed myself and I love it , most of the time 😀 of course there'll be a time you won't but that happens to everyone. And as long as your locs looks clean and neat some people will love it on you. Your locs are looking good, I like it😍
I love microlocs definitely my second choice next to sisterlocks! That's so true you start off not typically loving them and then eventually you do. Thanks so much! 💗😊
Have my consultation at the end of September! Been wearing my hair in mini twist to adjust and I love it. If I could do the parting myself I probably would e installed by now but I can’t😆 I’m thinking about micro s as well so after my consultation I’ll know which direction.
I hope the consultation goes well! Yes exactly! I tried doing the parting myself and failed terribly lol that's when I was like let me go ahead and find me somebody to do them. It's a hard decision between micro or sisterlocks because I love both so much, either way you go I'm sure you'll love it!
I so wanted to hear this. Some days I am like dam I look horrible and some days I'm like I love it. Just waiting to build up my confidence to rock it at work. 🙂
I think you will like it over time it does take time to get used to. And bad hair days the good thing is that they're rare and in those cases I'll typically do a style especially when it gets closer to needing a retightening versus wearing them all down. I hope you start!
UA-cam just suggested your video to me today. New subbie here 👋🏾 I feel you on that journey to 1000 subs 😆 Trying to get there too. But we're closer now than when we had no channel 😅 I pray you get there sooner than you anticipate. ETA: Hollup....you lost locs on the edges? The only time I've seen that happen was with people whose loctitians didn't know not to make the locs at the very edges as tiny as the ones adjacent. The ones at the edges need to be 1.5-2 times as thick to withstand all the pulling and tugging. I'm finding that this isn't common knowledge apparently.
Thanks for subscribing! 😁 Yes the journey takes time, and I'm learning consistency is key! That's so true, I appreciate it and hope the same for you! Lol yesss that's not common knowledge it seems, you're so right. I'm having to get some of my edges combined because of this!
Fell out or came undone/unraveled? The way you describe it, it sounds like your locs are dropping out of your scalp onto the floor or somewhere; locs shouldn't fall out of the scalp onto the floor nor anywhere unless you have some kind of medical condition that needs to be addressed. Edges don't have to be caught up in the locs; people can request that the finer hair/edges not be included in the locs or that locs are not tightened all the way down to the scalp. Your hair is beautiful; however, I don't understand why your locs are falling out unless you have a health condition or your reties are way too tight.
Yes, they came out, because I was dealing with postpartum in the beginning and then also some of them were thin at the roots and barely hanging on, which is a part of why I switched locticians to care about not just the retightening of my hair but the health as well. And thank you! Also, I actually did not know you could request edges to not be included in the locs, so that is good to know.
@@allthat_jass Your hair is absolutely beautiful. I learned from other beautiful ladies with SLs that we can request them not to include the edges. It's great to learn from each other! 😊

I’m going to get them! I’ve been natural for 5 years and want something else. I’m excited! I been watching all the sister loc videos haha ❤
Yay! I hope you like them! They make managing hair so much easier lol I understand I definitely was doing the same before I got mine too. 💗
💕🌸 your sister locs look great! I am now extremely tender-headed and can barely wear any updos. But other than that, BEST decision I've made for my hair.
Thank you!! 💗 Oh nooo I hope that doesn't happen it's too hot for that lol but definitely loving the decision too!

That's a great idea! I wish I did that prior as well because the itch was real!

Thanks so much for watching! I’m glad you found it helpful and I really hope you like yours as well. If not at first, just give it time 😊❤️

I'm glad you could relate! Exactlyyyy lol not every day is a good hair day. Yay! I hope that you do soon, embrace the stages! 😁
The growth!! Nice!
Thank You! ❤️❤️
I love your hair sis! I’m mentally preparing for my install on fine hair next month!!🫶🏽
Thanks girl! Yay! I hope you like yours too but even if not in the beginning give it time! 😁
loving your hair journey
Thanks so much! 😁
Hey thank you I want to start but its the process of when the Locs look thick that I’m not sure I will stand a bad hair day 😢

Here watching I am new to the journey
Thanks for watching! 😁
I asked my husband and daughters the same thing. Like why you did not tell me my hair was looking like that. I'm 3 years in now.
Lol exactly!! I look back at the pics like you should've let me know 😂 three years is definitely much better
@@allthat_jass they look a lot better for sure in the 3 years mark. My hair is low density so not much volume unless I braid it daily.
Awesome Video! Beautiful Locs
Thank you 😊, and thanks for watching!
