Praise God ...What a blessing, real people just singing songs Unto the the Lord....no flares and bells....pure praises. Take us back dear Lord. Much love
This the kinda church I grew up on. We song a many of John P Kee songs and Rev Timothy Wright songs. You don’t even see churches wear Robes anymore. Times have definitely changed
It's Friday night...March 31~2023. Before cooking a pizza, I pulled up a video by "The Anointed Brown Sisters" of Tuscaloosa Al. While playing this particular song I really love over & over again, I decided to let it go to the next video. I kept forwarding til I came up on this one... decided to stop, I thought for a few minutes...but My God!!!! Lord how I miss those days! I'm a ole soul (reared by my grandparents) raised in church & this was Church, Love, Togetherness, Kindness, Meekness, Humbleness, No Competition kinda church. Today....The blessings of the Lord has caused so many from the pulpit to the usher pew (all denominations) to walk with their heads up so high, til many have truly forgotten where they came from. 😪 Take up back....Take us back dear Lord...to the place, where we first received You🙌🏾 This was truly a blessing & I'm glad this was my Friday night experience!!♥️ A 1992 choir anniversary blessing in 2023‼️❣️🙋🏾♀️🔥 I didn't look to see who posted this before writing my comment, but I want to say....Thank you!!! I hope to see more!
Wow. I miss choir Anniversaries like this. Church was pack from front to rear and that good ole devotional service to kick the service off...if I can go back I definitely would
This what I like about good old fashion church, the whole church is the praise team. Nowadays, folks want to praise team To do all the singing while they sit there and watch and clap.
Wow we don’t even have choir marches anymore. I miss that. Even with the big church that I go to, it’s only the praise team now and a couple of musicians. Boy I miss those days, the processional can take almost half of the service but it was an awesome experience
I agree with you we have a praise choir, I asked the choir director why can't we do gospel songs, his comment we are when I mention some songs he just looked at me.
@@David-wm4ox wow, he just give you that look, sad. This pandemic that's happening has shooken every Church up, and folks better wake up and realize this is the last days. Some folks don't even go to church anymore and they blame it on the pandemic, the president, China, Europe and all the other places, they even blame the CDC. But the CDC did not say that we can't worship God in our homes, they didn't say that we can't pray and fast, they didn't say that we can't sing and worship the Lord, and read our Bibles.
Wow this leaves one question in my heart. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CHURCH?? Why did attending church stop being important to many... bring back old church.
I’ve been looking for the name of the song your mother sung. I haven’t heard it since my grandmothers funeral. I knew the tune but I didn’t know the words.
David true I miss coming down there to Allendale and having some good all fashion church, although I’m from New Jersey and go to a pretty big church up here in the city of Trenton and Hamilton, it’s good to get out of our big modern cathedrals With the mega sound systems and colorful stage lights and go back to the old wooden church with the wood floor, them good old holiness mothers and some good old fashion singing and shouting!,,,What I like about this video, the whole church is the praise team.
Great time to be alive! I miss these good old-fashioned Chior Day Sundays! Also, not to belabor a point, but you would be hard pressed to find a single woman in this church that has a head full of weave! The women of the church then were on point and looked like shiny pennies! Sundays was definitely happy hour! Don't let it be a men's program! Oh my goodness!
