    This was an unexpected joy to watch

      Thanks for watching, @richiecastle460. My mother always said it was my destiny to bring joy to others (if I didn't kill myself from alcoholism first, like all my uncles).

      "Writing is not for the faint of heart. It is a struggle with your own demons, a battle for the human soul. A writer possess more courage and fortitude than all the world's doctors, soldiers and policemen combined." - John Lazarus

      Thanks, @blakevinccent4928. I am a beacon of truth. Also a beacon of writing good books.

    nice video i am now addicted to crack cocaine

    • @DEpublishing
      @DEpublishing  7 місяців тому +5

      Don't worry about it. Crack cocaine gave us "The West Wing," the presidency of George W. Bush, and every good Happy Mondays song. Just don't let it get in the way of your writing. Thanks for watching, @georgeharris9452.

    Wait you have like 200 subs I thought this shot was like a million sub channel

      Thanks for the kind words, @cyan6483. I think it's safe to say that if this channel had one million subs, all poverty, war and disease would be eradicated from the face of the Earth.

      If you don't want to join the secret Satanic societies necessary to land a deal at Random House or Penguin, I can understand, but don't pretend I didn't warn you.

    I may have to try these

    • @DEpublishing
      @DEpublishing  7 місяців тому

      Go for it, @RecordingQuadriQuart. There's no harm in trying (unless, in doing so, you reveal a bunch of very odd, perverted sexual beliefs that leaves you estranged from friends and family. But that only happened to a couple of the students I've mentored.)

    Tip: decide on the tone for the video and stick with it. It's jarring when I have to use mental energy figuring out which parts are sarcastic and which are serious. I'd rather focus on absorbing the actual message.

      Wait I thought the whole video was serious?

      That's okay. Media literacy is difficult. After all, who's to say whether a writing tutorial with a thumbnail that says "Limit Crack Use" is serious or not? Thanks for watching, everyone.

      @@DEpublishing - ok, just ignore constructive criticism and be an asshole.

    Fuck me! I wasn't actually watching, but listening, while stepping out to smoke. This is the first video I've watched of this channel and, due to the sound of the narrator's voice, I expected some soft-spoken, motivational speaker, Tony Robbins, self-help guru type of generalized, generic, cookie-cutter nonsense... It may still turn out to be just that, but calling me a "piece of shit" before the one minute mark at least got my attention. Good on ya', Narrator. I like it rough! (Safe Word is "rutabaga".)
