I had another problem where reminders was not even there in the notifications menu, so none of these worked. What I accidentally did one day was, I wrote a reminder and tried to share it with a friend, that’s when a popup came about notification settings and that’s how it got fixed!
This did work, but I still don’t get no sound, and it doesn’t wake my phone saying I have alert. Once I tap on my screen I’ll see it. This isn’t right, it should flawlessly.
Will add my solution here. My reminders that I created on my Mac were not showing on my iphone. in fact, in notifications section in my iphone there was not a "reminder" bar as well in order to enable it. So, what helped me was that I created new reminder on my iphone and iphone asked me if I wanted to get the notifications and I said yes. And after that I started to get all notifications on my iphone. Also "reminders" bar appeared in the notifications section too. I hope it helps. cheers
Thank you for putting this out! My older model iPhone keeps randomly disabling things that I didn’t even know could be, like cellular data, or Wifi, now this…. Almost like Apple is trying to make me think that i have to buy a new phone when there is nothing actually wrong with the one I have…. No, they wouldn't do anything like that, not AGAIN 😡
Here is what worked for me. Click on settings>name banner at very top>iCloud> iCloud drive>turn off syncing iCloud drive>wait 30 seconds>turn sync this iPhone back on. This is very frustrating and annoying but fixes the issue with the keyword search function. HTH someone!
I have always wondered why there is no "alert" for the reminders. If I have a reminder for 1:30pm, why is there no option for me to be reminded 30 mins prior, i.e. at 1pm, that it is coming up? Instead you get an alert at the time of the reminder.
Reminders is not shown in the Notifications section. I had to go to the Notifications app and manually add one. Then the app asked for permission to send notifications! All this time I was using Siri to make Reminders and getting zero notifications. This has to be a bug.
Lots of f...king steps. As much as the iPhones cost, they should work flawlessly each & every time. This is a bunch of BS steps to get the sucker running properly.

@@robcbr91 go to settings and look for Reminders. There you can change the notification settings

I have the 15 pro max put a reminder to take medication and it never went off
