Making an Elephant | The Magician's Elephant

Puppetry Director Mervyn Millar and Puppet Designer Tracy Waller describe the process of designing and building a lifesized elephant for our new musical, The Magician's Elephant.
The Magician’s Elephant is adapted from Kate DiCamillo's prize-winning novel, directed by Sarah Tipple and designed by Colin Richmond. It plays in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon from 18 October 2021 to 1 January 2022.
