@@ColinleGueux, they were formed in '94 as Kerberos, in '96 they became known as Draconian and their first LP came out in 2003. Their trajectory is much shorter and less laureate to be up to the three bands I mentioned.

Remarkable video, quite hard to understand at a simple glance, but realy, realy good and 100% in accordance with the lyrics and music.
"Bring me to my victory" is just a way of saying that all it's lost and there is not and there will never be a victory...

and yes how old are you now? how is your life? probably we struggled in this our lives.. sometimes as aaron said the forces under us rised and we've got some "victories".. but there will never be a solid and absolute victory.. just like the kid in this video.. when the forces begun and he yelled and decided to leave that place.. he got a victory.. but after that he's just gone into another room and he realized that there is no solid victory :( man this music has so much means and concepts.. and btw has power of healing
I beg to differ. Once you reach the bottom, there isn’t anything left but victory. Cuz you can’t go further down. The bottom i.e. the devil; the personification of shedding moralities and all that makes us human. “Spread my wings”, “down from the fall and now standing tall”, “now I am my only man”...etc mark the transition of a man turned demon. Which doesn’t say much really, MDB have always been obsessed with, myths, deities and Christianity in particular.
Yet I see this as an uplifting tale of ascension from despair, depression and inaction

When I see a production like this, I can tell that a good metal song and video can both be made without the necessity of a lot of overacts, costumes and make-up as Cradle of Filth and Dimmu Borgi do. I mean, they are also great, but lalala.

Yeah very similarly poppish, the best My Dying Bride era was when they did the 3 classic metal epic masterpieces. Have only barely touched on the same class they had back then.
