A point of order, regarding filter life expectancy. Both the carbon and HEPA filters are projected to last for 12 months, not 4 and 12, respectively, as stated in the video. That is based on using the unit for 8 hours each day.
A further point to note, is the rotary dial position on the side. It is NOT intended to be positioned half way between the two positions. The unit is designed to push air upwards or forwards only, rather than a sort of combined mode. Obviously, since it’s a mechanical flap, and manages to do so, then there’s not much chance of damaging the unit, but it’s not how the function was intended for usage.

I have several Coway air purifiers throughout my home. They outperform most other brands and are very reliable. They have been running 24/7 for several years and have never failed. They are very effective at detecting particles and odors and adjust the motor speed accordingly. Filters are easy to replace and the units are easy to operate. The indicator light is useful and accurately provides a visual aid for air quality. Looks cool too ! Top quality purifiers !

Would you happen to know why the device is crackling on silent mode? Cleaned it all. No filters required at this time. Had it for 7 weeks in my bedroom. Results initially incredible for my wife's health but recently declined. Not sure if there's a correlation. Also driving us insane during the night as it's not as silent as it was

Which is a better model between the AP-1200B and Airmega 250 ?
I think technically 250 would be better as 250 having true HEPA filter instead of 1200B having only HEPA (as per Coway website) I have placed an order for 1200B, will analyse and share the feedback
