I'd personally love to see the Cuda finished up inside and out -- suspension, body, and interior that would turn it back into the dreamcar you originally envisioned before the realities of production spoiled things.
Honestly, I'd go with the lowest hanging fruit, probably the olds. A win is a win, and it'll build momentum for the rest. I'd ship off the bmw, do a simple swap on a rx8 and get seat time, leave the S13 in the corner full of desiccant packs and collect parts slowly (or wait for the market to appreciate even more), get the 86 going for some crossover youtube stuff (flex those driving skills), make a master plan on how you want the cuda to really be, and work out the lotus and demon when you are looking for a change.
Took the words out of my mouth. Momentum is a powerful tool. Knock out the quickest/simplest wins first--even if they're not super sexy--and build from there. EDIT: And yeah, ditch the Beemer. It's s hit pile momentum killer/detractor.
Lots of love being thrown your way about these cars. Since I am much older, and possibly wiser, here is my take. Too many cars that need work to make them drivable. Ditch the 240SX, the Lotus, the BMW, and the Olds. Funny you didn’t even mention your 911 or Firebird. Finish the ‘Cuda and you have a drift car for the street. Revive the Scion and you have an all out race car. You have the Demon to satisfy that old school muscle car itch. In your line of work, which we all love you for, there will always be new projects presenting themselves…….and hardly any of them get finished. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the tour Tony! The Cutlass is awesome! I'm a Pontiac guy, but like you, I like all the different makes in this body style. Looks like you have a very solid starting point! And a collaboration with VGG?? I can't wait to see what you and Derek get yourselves into there!
Tony I would love to see you and some of the old gang go down to The Freedom Factory and show Cleetus and the boys how drifting is supposed to be done ! That would be awesome 👌
Great show Tony. I'd get rid of that Nissan rust pile ASAP. Yank the engine and sell that with all the parts you have for it but yikes, don't work on it.
For sure. Sell...to a scrap yard? I mean 240s are cool. But that 240 is toast. Write dow that loss and move on. Otherwise it'll suck the life out of your program.
Hey Tony, IMHO fastest way to get your DRIFT ON could be 1. Sell the BMW 2. Sell the 240 3. Buy Copper Boggetti's ls swapped 240 You guy collaborate a couple vids together and we get to watch! Triple WIN 🏆 Just saying! ✌️
Love the Mopar stuff!! As a longtime Olds fanatic, obviously the Olds is the cream of the crop when it comes to the project cars!!! Swap in a 455, 4L80 trans, do some simple cheap suspension/brake upgrades, and have fun. Just don’t swap in a LS engine!!!! Ain’t no feelin like Oldsmobilin!!!!
Out of all the Dodge, Chevrolet, Buicks, Pontiacs, Fords I've owned I am a straight up freak for Demons and Dusters and my vote is for the DEMON !!!! Thank you for sharing and please keep em coming. Everyone keep yourselves and love ones safe and healthy and remember to SMILE.
Cutlass, I'm biased owning A 69 myself, would be good to see some BOP appreciation And people love a story to go with there car. Keep up the good work Tony
Like all the cars but at the top of the list, for me, would be the three vintage "muscle" cars. To get your projects done, make a "To Do" list for each cars. Then start with the one with the shortest list and go from there. I remember the 'Cuda when you got it ready for the show. That was quite a project !! Thanks for all the videos. Best Regards - Mike
Thanks for going through your collection with us, Tony. Personally, I'd like to see work done on the Olds, Cuda, or Demon. The mystery car from Derek sounds cool too. Keep up the great content!
Tony you sunova... You are living my dream. Got a little cash in your pocket and went and bought every whim car that popped up in your head... the exact thing I would do. I would love to be in your position!! Have to say though, you may want to thin the herd... Too many projects usually means not enough drivers. Regardless of what you do, please keep posting and growing the channel, the content is getting better and better.
Demon and Cutlass - Quick but quality repairs and just enjoy the hell out of them with the family. 328 - You don’t want it, and you want an RX8. Chris Rudnik is trying to thin his fleet, has a really nice RX8 and is ate up with BMWs and drifting…you see where I’m going? Lotus - Very cool car, but I don’t think it’s too rare/valuable to mod. Maybe a K series swap? Cuda - This is the dream car. I think you and the car have enough of a following that companies would step up and sponsor/donate parts. I’d make a list of what you want it to be, start making some phone calls and go from there. It deserves to be a long term project done exactly how you’ve always pictured it. 240 - Throw it in the woods. Scion - Exactly as you said. Basic maintenance, then try whatever wild ideas pop into your head with it. The variety of your fleet is awesome, and Automotive A.D.D. needs an awareness month.
The car that’s covered I think is a road runner, 1968. Fix the no steering bmw and sell it off for cash to build the lotus for the show, cause no one does that but everyone will love it. It’s really cool to see the projects come together that makes me keep coming back for more. Especially love the engine tech stuff
Great video T/A. I do watch Vice grip garage and Derek is a great guy. I believe the car undercover to be another roadkill car. He has the vanishing paint challenger. The name escapes. Im not sure if it still has the hellcat motor in it tho. But thats my thought. The cutlass is very cool and i would love to see a monster motor in it while we are still producing gasoline. Your cuda would be my choice to get for me. ✌👍
I believe you are thinking of the General Mayhem Charger. I really doubt it's that particular car since they just got done switching it back to old school 440 power recently and Freiburger is in love with it. However, my first thought on seeing this car was 68 Charger so I don't think you are too far off.
The cuda is by far one of the coolest cars you own. Id love to see some real flares, color matched engine bay, fix the front suspension and put a real dash and some carpet in it.
Back in '82, when I was 15, I bought a '71 Demon 340/4 speed. It was black with a black interior. $400 bucks!!! I already had a '69 Charger I was working on. My dad got mad at me about something a couple of years later and sold the car to someone for an undisclosed amount and he kept the money. He sold my Charger a couple of years after that and I also had a '69 Charger R/T that was just setting at his place along with a '69 Roadrunner. He sent both of them to the junkyard while I was 1700 miles away at college. He was such a great guy.
Awesome toy box Tony…love them all for different reasons. Personally I’d kick the BMW and 240 to the curb and focus your time and money on the Cuda and Olds. Can’t wait to see the collaboration between yourself and that Vice Grip Garage fella…love your presentation style! Looking forward to congratulating you when you hit a million subs.
I love the Demon! I would love to own one. Most guys want any other Mopar model like a cuda or road runner...but I have always liked the Demons and 70 Dusters.
Whatever you do, KEEP that 340 DEMON. I used to have a 1971 340 Duster, 4 speed. Wish I still had it. Keep it stock, That will keep the "wow factor" it will be worth more.
1971 Cutlass Lime Green with a Dark Green Vinyl top and Lime interior. Bought and sold for $500 back in the early 80s. Hated it back them, have missed it ever since (looking for a nice one all the time). Good luck with your 1970!!
My comments: Cuda - replace the front suspension with some bolt in stuff, quick fix. Finish the interior and wiring and make it the car you are thinking about. BMW - Sell it 240 - part it out and put the good parts in a better donor (of some type) and make a true JDM drift car you love Lotus - spend some quality time to repair the car basically back to stock. Maybe put EFI on it with some good brakes and then drive it Scion - pick a plan and work towards that (hill climb, drift or whatever) Demon - pull the steering box and send it to Firm Feel and get their stage 3 rebuild. Pull the pan and sort that out (probably the rear seal) I'd do the Scion first followed by the Demon, then the Cuda, then the Lotus and then whatever comes from the BMW/240 deal.
The Cuda is a dream car. Throw the kitchen sink at it. The demon should be your version of Lucky’s Chevhell. Daily it and just keep it nice enough to drive daily. The 240 looks like a money pit. The cutlass would be a great car for the channel. No one seems to make content about finish work and actually documents it.
Lotus = Lots of trouble, usually serious! Colin Chapmans mantra was "Simplify and add lightness" When they work they are awesome but build quality was poor. Also note the Morris Marina door handles!! Big love from the UK.
Just be you're self that's the people like originality and the way you make things happen,i follow you from Motor trend.my family and I we enjoy your channel thanks.
The Demon's a keeper! I've had mine since 1973, Jr HS vehicle! 340 4spd, also! Your drift race car! The videos looked frightening! The Cutlass is sweet! Used to race a 442 back in the 70's at a Sunoco station I worked at! The Cuda! Keep improving on it! Maybe find a new home for the engine in your rust bucket! The tiny car, well, you're choice!🙄 I'm guessing B body Mopar under the tarp! Best of luck with all of your projects!!👍
Liking your channel lots Tony! Here's my list: Olds: Keep it for sure, classic muscle. Cuda: Absolutely keep, great looking car. BMW: Toss it. 240SX: Sell it for good money to someone who really wants a 240SX. Lotus: Absolutely keep, such a cool car. Why not pull the SR20 out of the 240SX and transplant it? Scion: Well that's a keeper, obviously! Demon: Another keeper, naturally. Numbers matching 4-speed car!
On the Cuda, there can be very simple and inexpensive solutions to bump street issues. I relocated a bunch of stuff on the front suspension on my truck and found so much bump steer that I couldn't push the truck if you aligned it unloaded. I was able to get it absolutely perfect with tie rod ends and extending and moving the ball joints to the other side of the arm. It was like a $25 circle track part and a friend made a bushing on his lathe.
I'd probably sell the 240; I don't think you'll ever be able to turn it into a car you're really happy with, at least compared to the rest of your garage. You could probably turn what you get out of it into an RX-8, depending on the market. I might part out the BMW; if the internals are sound, and I think they have that reputation, it would make an interesting swap candidate for the potential RX-8 mentioned above. At any rate, grab the project that grabs you and dive into it, but keep the Demon close by so you can switch to and finish it when the other project starts kicking your teeth in.
@@StayTunedTA Yeah, seems like every car channel has a project trying to find or recreate the car they wish they'd never sold. Must be nice to be on the other side of that coin. At any rate, I'm here for it; based on the rest of your cars, I'm sure if you think it's cool it'll be fun to watch! 👍 edit: And VGG! That's going to be a fun one!
@@BucketIndeed When I was a kid shopping for my first car (the Demon) I talked to so many guys who wished they never sold their first car, or some old muscle car they had, so I decided I would never sell that thing, if at all possible.
Look forward to you and VGG teaming up! Love that demon! My brother had a 71 340 4 speed with a 3.91 sure grip, msn that car was fun 2 drive. It had a 4 speed OD with a 3.09 first gear, launched like crazy! The guy he bought it from had a 71 demon as well with a 440 six pack and fender well headers and a 4 speed with 4.56's, had plexi windows and hollowed out doors for less weight, fast!!
Most projects are only overwhelming if you run through the list of what they need in your head. Freibergers cardboard list method is perfect in my opinion. It takes the list out of your head and gives you smaller attainable goals, plus the satisfaction of crossing them off. Make a list for each car, shortest list wins!
Lookin super forward to your 70 cutlass project. I have a ‘70 as well!! And it’s my release when I have free time. They are by far the best of the muscle car era I agree. Growing up in the engine bay of my brothers ‘69 w31 sparked my love for oldsmobile over 20 yrs ago.
Do the Demon first, because it seem like a pretty easy win which should gee you up to work on the next car. Then maybe the Formula Drift car next, so you can take it out hillclimbing :) Everything else can wait a little longer at this point (can't wait to see the Lotus on the road though)
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one with this problem!! I have an 88 s-10 w/a 2.8 that is probably going to get a sr20det. Pull yours, and put it in the rx8.
The Olds is a keeper. Don't see enough of those! I know the 72 Cuda is a bondo queen, and it was rushed for SEMA, but you have to keep it, man. It's branding. You can do insane stuff with it and not worry, which wouldn't be true of a straight resto grade one. Heard of VGG? Um...yeah. VGG is always a quality production, he is awesome. I would lean into that project for sure. Can't wait for the upcoming episodes.
Good stuff TA! My first car was a 72 Duster 340. Turned it into a Pro-street deal in the 80's before the term Pro-street was a thing. I remember having to ride my bike in the winter (Canadian guy eh) because my only car had slicks and a roll cage. Hahah. I sold it in the early 2000's and wish I could find it. Went to a fella in the Indianapolis area.....I heard he was a pilot and had a disability with one of his hands or arms. If that car is around I'd love to find it....
Nice. I just bought a 72 skylark. And wanting to do some upgrades. Already swapped to front disc's off a lemans and a 79 TA from sway bar. And trying to see if my 70 impala rear.sway bar will fit.
I will give you 68 years of experience, When they say you can't go back thar's not true. But what is true it's never the same! #2 Too many projects means no projects get done!! Great Job on HRG.👍Big Fan.
Absolutely agree. My 2nd car was a 69 cutlass S convertible. 350 rocket 2 speed auto. Had it back in 93 to 94. Today I have 69 Chevelle 396 SS. Sweet looking bone stock but the motor has been changed in its life to a 72 402. Plan on 500+ stock looking car. Kind of sleeper. 69 is the best year ever overall cars.
Sadly soon all combustion cars and trucks including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!! (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN & BEFVO laws)!!!!!!!
Love it. My first car was a 72 Cutlass. Had 60k miles on the Rocket 350 w Rochester 2v and Turbo 350. Column shift, bench seat. Promptly trashed the 350 and replaced it with a 403. Ran headers into just enough exhaust pipe to leave the turbo glass packs dumping out directly under the front seats. Shredded lots of Road Huggers with that thing. Ran like a scalded ass ape. ...til I got t-boned by an old carolla or something, full of drunk dudes that ran a light. Cops said they were probably going close to 60. All I have left is a Polaroid of it before I pulled the motor and the parts that were still good. Still makes me sad.
Super Excited about the Olds!! Bas ass car! Super cool you have alot to put it together. If you're gonna do the paint and body, it needs the Ram Air Hood. Super iconic and cool, one of my all time favorites! Get after it Tony!
I love the cutlass. My thing is the 69s. I certainly have 2, 442 hard tops and a convertible cutlass. If you want to put on the right 14x7 wheels with bolt on center caps I've got a ton of them. The Demon and Cuda are also killer. Both were on my list back in the day. Love the paint on the firebird too. Keep up the good work. Get the girls in the shop soon as they are old enough.
Here's an impartial way to decide what to work on. Assign each car a number and throw a die (or dice) and whichever car wins, that's the one you work on. If you have more than 6 cars, a gaming die (like Dungeons and Dragons) would work
So many projects, so little time. I have the same problem. I have a 1985 Chevy s10 that I put in a 383 stroker motor with a 5 speed manual transmission. Also have a 1978 Chevy Monte Carlo with a 454 that I'm redoing the bodywork and paint.
1A Batteryminder trickle chargers. Northern Tool has them. Get one for each. Lead acid and AGM batteries can trickle charge for years. They will be ready whenever you need them. As for the cars, close your eyes and pick one. That are all awesome. EXCEPT for the 240. Yank the drivetrain and push it off a cliff. There's wet cardboard boxes with more structural integrity.
you suffer the same issue as my dad, fully keen then get mentally stuck on something and cant stand going near it anymore. that lotus is an easy deal, rebuild those carbs and forget the webers, send it to a trimmer and just say make it nice inside respecting originality and just throw some period suitable wheels on it for now. the cheap drift bmw, just fix the front end and you'll be happy, dont overthink it
Man your a cool ass dude. I'm really glad to see you doing your own thing. Keep the videos coming brother! And upload more so the whole algorithm can put you out there more!!
As a guy who’s owned an RX8 for many years I say do it! Butttt, try and stick it out with the renesis for as long as it allows. While it is an unreliable pain in the ass, 9500 rpm is an adrenaline rush even with only 250hp. The platform in stock form is down right impressive, like a street legal go kart. I had a hard time finding the limits at first. The car just does what you ask. But, after the renesis says adios, swap it.
Over a 30 year career I've made over $10,000,000. I spent more than half of it on fast cars, fast women, booze and drugs. The rest of the money I wasted.
Tony, love your channel! If I were you, I'd ditch the 240, you need dozens of work hours with the rust repairs alone before you can start modifying it... And will it ever be as cool as the 'Cuda? Nope! I'd spend that time making the 'Cuda perfect, and then you need to show us some sideways action! 🤘 Absolutely loving the Demon too, and the Olds is a sweet project also, would be fun to see you finish it.
Here's my take, for what it's worth: Move the 240 and that BMW down the road. Finish the Cuda suspension and interior. Needs a dash badly. Love that Cutlass! It does have potential. Sure, get it running, then go for upgrades to the drivetrain. Those Olds motors are not that great. I would go for a stroker smallblock Chevy or an LS. For sure ditch that TH 350 ASAP! They suck balls! But for real. Get it up and running first with what you have. It would be cool. It would also be cool to see that Lotus get up and running. Maybe you will decide it's not for you, but if it's running and driving decently it will be worth a lot more money to some collector if you decide to sell it than what it is now. That's crazy that you hit your head on the roof. You aren't a real big guy either. WOW! I bet it would be a fun car to blast around in though. I would get new wheels for it. Magnesium that is cracking is not something you would want to depend on. Just saying. That FRS is bad ass! There is your drift car that you can take out when you get the urge. Can't get no better than that! Love the Demon! Looks like a few little minor fixes and it's back on the road. Why not go for that? You might need a quick win. There you go! A couple of quick fixes and you are on the road reeking havoc! ;-) Can't wait for the content Man! I have to say, you are one Cat who can drive the tires off of anything! You are seriously one hell of a wheel man! Love your channel!
I admit I`m biased! Build the Olds first. I had a `68 convertible and a `70 Cutlass S with the 310 horse 350. Both were great. That Cuda looks like a great project too!
Hmmm…choose between working on a rusty 240 or an English Lotus? I think they go to the back of the line! Short putts are the Demon, and to a little lessor degree, the Cuda , bimmer and Cutlass.
My favorites out of your cars are Demon, Cuda and Cutlas. Those interest me the most. Cut out the rust on the drivers quarter on the Demon. She deserves better! Lol . I had a new 74 Dart Sport with same split bench interior as yours, but with the 318-3 on the floor. Unfortunately she didn’t have many guts compared to the automatic 318 cars I owned in the 70s. They were pretty quick compared to other post 1971 small blocks I street raced.
Tony we miss you so much with Lucky, you two guys were just perfect together,we understand why you had to go though and were glad and we hope your happier,im sure you are with your family,im 53 and my mom is 83 and she loves you to death, you, lucky and finnegan you 3 guys are the best.take care dude.
My dad had a 68 cutlas before he had me and my brothers. Same motor as you have and was told to be the fastest car out there at the time (it got stolen, long story). It was also red, so Id LOVE to see that thing rip!
I love the cutlass, so many ppl think it hideous and want the chevelle but to me the cutlass was beautiful. Had a friend who has a 69 and people thought he was stupid for building it. Now they are eating crow. The 240 & the Olds….get ‘‘em finished. Let me know if your serious about unloading the BMW. Take that Scion and run pikes peak.
Sell the BMW and the 240, do a dirt cheap junkyard LS swap in the rx8.Get the lotus some carb love and go wail on it then sell it and finish the cutty and the demon and cuda.
If you don't want to work on it - send it. Pull the motor on the 240, get rid of the rusty roller, then wait until you find a nice 240 with a blown motor. I want to see you working on something you're excited about.
Here's my two cents on the list: *Cutlass:* put it back together with what you have and see where it goes. *Cuda:* GET THAT ISH FINISHED. *BMW:* ditch it. *240:* pull the drivetrain, ditch the rustbucket. *Lotus:* get it running, drive it. If you love it, put the SR motor from the 240 into it. Otherwise, get it the hell out of that shop. Crap cars, hard to get parts. *Scion:* DEW IT. *Demon:* get her buttoned up and going!
Man. I grew up in 68-72 Cutlasses. I wish you could still get into a decent one for a reasonable cost. Those days are far too long gone sadly. Please leave it the burbly Olds motor in it. Maybe throw a 3rd pedal in it and make it a fun cruiser.
Drift cuda needs all the love. second vote will always go to a 240sx, helps that your 240 and mine are the same color inside and out, both sunroof cars... I guess what I'm saying is I would just like to see one of our 240's get finished and it's not looking like mine will happen any time soon.
I live in Lansing where the cutlass was made and I see these things everywhere I even pass three of them on my way to work every day. I would love to see you get that thing on the road and just be a dependable cruiser something you could get in any day and just drive down the street and have a little fun. Same with the demon if that’s all it needs is a oil pan and a steering box something else you could just take out and cruise on a random weeknight
Ohhhh brother that Lotus... if you truly want a project that will cost you your soul... that's it. They CAN be great but... ugh Our vote Project 1 : Cutlass!
Keep up the great work, really I think the ‘68 ‘69 Cutlass S or 442 are thee best looking A bodies of all time. Second is a 69 Buick Skylark with the side skirts on the quarter panels. Number three is the 1970 Chevelle SS 454.
I'd personally love to see the Cuda finished up inside and out -- suspension, body, and interior that would turn it back into the dreamcar you originally envisioned before the realities of production spoiled things.
I've always been intrigued by the original idea of the fishtail as a street/drift car. I feel its too unique not to finish.
I agree, it's way too nice to stay as a rarely driven track weapon. It'd be great to see you sort out the suspension gremlins too.
I really enjoy all your stuff and am STOKED you're going to do a project with VGG!

Thanks for going through your collection with us, Tony. Personally, I'd like to see work done on the Olds, Cuda, or Demon. The mystery car from Derek sounds cool too. Keep up the great content!
Love watching all of your projects, but stoked for some Olds stuff!!
You should swap the SR20 into the Esprit. That car would be awesome!
Love them all - I think you need to make a plan so you can tackle them all and get them where you want them to be. :-)
@@drax333 Yeah, with that squared off rear it's gotta be a Charger.
@@drax333 I believe you are correct. Done on Roadkill garage. Motorhomes bad mayhem gooder. 😁✌
The cuda is by far one of the coolest cars you own. Id love to see some real flares, color matched engine bay, fix the front suspension and put a real dash and some carpet in it.
I agree, the Fishtail is now a legend.
The cutlass is a good example of the tragedy of "ill finish it one day"
Back in '82, when I was 15, I bought a '71 Demon 340/4 speed.
I'm not a mopar guy, but I think the Fishtail is one of the coolest projects ever and your story with the Demon is so damn cool too!
Love the love for the 68-72 Oldsmobile. I have a 1972 Olds with a LC2 Grand National swap. It's an amazingly easy, and fast swap.
My comments:
Cuda - replace the front suspension with some bolt in stuff, quick fix. Finish the interior and wiring and make it the car you are thinking about.
BMW - Sell it
240 - part it out and put the good parts in a better donor (of some type) and make a true JDM drift car you love
Lotus - spend some quality time to repair the car basically back to stock. Maybe put EFI on it with some good brakes and then drive it
Scion - pick a plan and work towards that (hill climb, drift or whatever)
Demon - pull the steering box and send it to Firm Feel and get their stage 3 rebuild. Pull the pan and sort that out (probably the rear seal)
I'd do the Scion first followed by the Demon, then the Cuda, then the Lotus and then whatever comes from the BMW/240 deal.
That 350 olds with #5 w31 heads an cam sweet little Mighty Mouse or even better with a mondello 455.😎👍
Love to hear you and Derek working together. That’s gonna be epic!!!!
I had a 71 Cutlass in College and I loved that car. So many memories.
So excited that you are doing the cutlass.
Dude, that's awesome! I can't wait to see you and Derek work together! I literally haven't been this excited since MCM and Roadkill collabed
Liking your channel lots Tony!
Here's my list:
Olds: Keep it for sure, classic muscle.
I think you might be right on, except the Lotus needs an easier mid-engine swap. They are out there.
I like it! I really can’t decide but I want to be building stuff that I’m excited about! Demon isn’t going anywhere, ever.
edit: And VGG!
Then maybe the Formula Drift car next, so you can take it out hillclimbing :)
Everything else can wait a little longer at this point (can't wait to see the Lotus on the road though)
Thank you for sharing, I'm all about the DEMON !!!!
That cutlass was a good trade. I mean that for both parties. Can't wait to see it rollin
Yeah, agree! That S10 was a completely awesome little truck.
Sadly soon all combustion cars and trucks including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-(
In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025
on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county.
I don’t believe you, I think you made 90% of that up, the last 10% definitely on drugs!
I went cruising in my mom's 69 Olds. Green on green with a black vinyl roof. We'd burn through a tank of gas @buck a gallon. Seats 6 comfortably!
Absolutely loving the Demon too, and the Olds is a sweet project also, would be fun to see you finish it.
Here's my take, for what it's worth:
Move the 240 and that BMW down the road.
Finish the Cuda suspension and interior. Needs a dash badly.
Love that Cutlass! It does have potential. Sure, get it running, then go for upgrades to the drivetrain.
Those Olds motors are not that great. I would go for a stroker smallblock Chevy or an LS. For sure ditch that
TH 350 ASAP!
A couple of quick fixes and you are on the road reeking havoc! ;-)
Can't wait for the content Man!
I have to say, you are one Cat who can drive the tires off of anything! You are seriously one hell of a wheel man!
Love your channel!
Olds motors are awesome!
TONY!!! Brother, turn that Scion into a grip car and do hillclimbs… that car is a great platform and is already built. Do it!!!!
Essentially I love all the car but essentially though I really love the Mopars !!!
Thanks bud! Yeah, I like the Mopars too.
Pull the SR20, throw go fast parts on it. Put SR in RX8 until V8, and then fix the s13 and put the sr back in its home when the 240 is done?
My dad had a 68 cutlas before he had me and my brothers. Same motor as you have and was told to be the fastest car out there at the time (it got stolen, long story). It was also red, so Id LOVE to see that thing rip!
Ditch the 240, give the motor to Finnegan for his Toyota mini truck and finish that Cutlass. Any video with those old Mopars would also be great.
These seem like actually good ideas. Are you new here??!
@@StayTunedTA not really , been around from the first episode.
If you don't want to work on it - send it. Pull the motor on the 240, get rid of the rusty roller, then wait until you find a nice 240 with a blown motor. I want to see you working on something you're excited about.
Really, that is actually a great idea. I don't want to turn wrench one on that thing. I could store that motor and parts pretty easily.
Don't ditch the CV carbs on the Lotus!! Those things are great once you have them tuned.
Here's my two cents on the list:
*Cutlass:* put it back together with what you have and see where it goes.
*Demon:* get her buttoned up and going!
i love the absolute contrast of JDM and American classic with a dash of some random British car. Awesome collection.
Yeah it's def cool. Think it's a function of age, we grew up doing the Japanese tuner thing, but we wanted muscle cars.
Ohhhh brother that Lotus... if you truly want a project that will cost you your soul... that's it. They CAN be great but... ugh
Our vote Project 1 : Cutlass!
70 Cutlass for sure. My uncle used to have a 70 442, in pretty much that same color. Though he had the black vinyl top and no stripes.
Keep up the great work, really I think the ‘68 ‘69 Cutlass S or 442 are thee best looking A bodies of all time. Second is a 69 Buick Skylark with the side skirts on the quarter panels. Number three is the 1970 Chevelle SS 454.
The Cutlass definitely deserves the right treatment. Get ahold of Dick Miller or Mark Remmel and that small block will happily make 500+ hp N/A!
