If these two naval giants were to face off, who do you think would have the upper hand-the USS Gerald R. Ford with its decades of innovation, or the Fujian, China’s bold statement of rising power? @@navyproductions China doesn't have a chance in Hades and they know it. They've been studying US Navy tactics for 50 years..... They know it ! They're dealing with Russia and North Korea and North Korea is just a crazy nut and they don't even want him having a nuclear platform. China has been held up by NATO's response with the United States response and all the navies surrounding including every island in their 9-line. It's ridiculous going back to the Ming dynasty. They may come to the point where they just throw everything they have into the skies and see what happens. But are they willing to take all the damage and death of not just their military but of their civilians? I don't think they want to do that. This is why they've been using propaganda in Taiwan to come in a two-party adjournment. For Taiwan to accept China as their Nation. Taiwan does not. Over 75% do not even see themselves as Chinese. They are Taiwanese. So China is patient. They have a long-term plan with a long-term goal, just like an investment long-term investment. Absolutely not. The only way to fundamentally take a ship out is by removing the water underneath the center of it by 30%. And we have torpedoes that do just that. But we will not even have to use them against China's ships because they're so thin in the skin. We can put one in the every aft of every shipped and it will just be no more. Every ship in the world should be allowed and will be allowed to use it. God bless you all. I apologize for the bio. But no China ain't going to win not by a long shot and he knows it 🕊️
Absolutely! The dedication and innovation of the U.S. Navy are truly remarkable. Aircraft carriers like the USS Gerald R. Ford represent not just advanced technology but also the hard work and commitment of countless service members. It's great to see such appreciation for their efforts to ensure global security and maintain freedom of the seas
"Exactly! The U.S. Navy has been perfecting carrier operations for over a century-it’s like comparing a seasoned chess grandmaster to someone just learning the rules. Experience matters, especially when it comes to mastering the complexity of carrier-borne operations. China’s making strides, but they’ve got a long way to go to match that level of expertise
@@navyproductions Chinese is a brown Water navy blue Water navy they are not they’re just learning. They just sort of speak getting their feet wet. Trust and believe if a war breaks out those ships that China has was scattered to the four winds just on fear alone.
@@navyproductions everyone talked about how great China is right. I just watched something on UA-cam about a sixth generation fighter jet all fighter jets today day and age right now fifth and sixth generation fighter jets in the United States Air Force Navy Marines one to two engines this new one that the China has has three engines they have yet to catch up to the technology of the United States. We had three engines on jets back in world war you know the Korean war and Vietnam war. China is a joke. Everything they have is all stolen tired of hearing about China.
😂 That’s one way to look at it! While the Fujian doesn’t quite match the Ford’s advanced tech and operational experience, it’s still a significant step for China’s Navy. It’ll be interesting to see how they improve over time-who knows, maybe one day they’ll build something closer to Ford’s league!
Most likely our submarines would sink it if it twitched. Navel warfare is more than one ship. The only thing that allows them to close the gap is people who put money over their countries security. There needs to be some severe punishment handed out.
While the Chinese Navy has more ships in terms of sheer numbers, the U.S. Navy’s focus on tonnage reflects its emphasis on larger, more capable vessels like aircraft carriers and destroyers. It’s fascinating to compare the strategies behind these fleets-China’s rapid expansion versus the U.S.’s focus on global power projection. What’s your take on how these differences might play out in the long term?"
Great observation! Replenishment at sea is definitely a huge advantage for the U.S. Navy. The ability to refuel and resupply while underway gives American carriers unmatched operational range and flexibility. It’s a crucial capability that allows the fleet to stay in the fight much longer. Do you think other navies will eventually catch up in this area, or is this a clear edge the U.S. will maintain?
Good point! The Fujian is still in its early stages of testing, so we’ll have to wait a bit longer to see those fighter jets in action. In the meantime, videos of the Ford’s EMALS launches and F-35s are hard to beat-definitely a tough act to follow!
Great question! Night operations on an aircraft carrier require advanced systems like landing lights, deck illumination, and precision landing aids. The Fujian, while modern, uses more traditional systems compared to the USS Gerald R. Ford. The Ford is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, such as advanced LED lighting and the JPALS (Joint Precision Approach and Landing System), which ensures safe and efficient night operations. The Fujian might rely on simpler approaches that are effective but not as cutting-edge. Night ops are a critical part of carrier functionality, so this is definitely an area where technology makes a big difference!"
The problem I see with both is, they are sitting ducks. All the Chinese would have to do is, overwhelm the US with relatively dumb, cheap missiles, in a sneak attack, some are going to get through. This could be done from land or the Chinese carrier. If the US made up it's mind to destroy the Fujian in a pre-emptive strike, this would be unbelievably victories.
That’s a fascinating point! The vulnerability of carriers in the age of advanced missiles is a topic many defense analysts debate. Overwhelming a carrier group with cheap, numerous missiles could be a real challenge, but that’s where the U.S. Navy’s layered defenses-like Aegis systems, CIWS, and electronic warfare-come into play to counter such threats. On the flip side, a pre-emptive strike on the Fujian would have enormous geopolitical consequences. It’s an interesting scenario-do you think carriers still hold their strategic value, or are we moving toward a new era of naval warfare?"
@@navyproductions Mmmm I think massive carriers have too many eggs in one basket. I think the US should be making half size carriers, the more, the merrier.

Wargaming scenarios and simulations are definitely a big part of military planning for both the U.S. and China. The Taiwan Strait is a flashpoint that both sides likely study extensively, given its strategic importance. What’s your take on how such a conflict might unfold?

China's Navy is a green Navy. It is not designed or logistically capable of going international. It has to stay within its own boundaries. They're also tin cans. Cheaply made at a rapid succession. Though they have more ships they have no quality. They have the Russian mentality of there's quality in numbers. Though they do have the platforms to launch missiles and such.
