Millionaire... a quiz show hosted by Chris Tarrant where contestants have to answer 12 General knowledge questions to win £1 Million.
It's a curious thing how the 'Final Answer' element took a long time to develop as a strict requirement in the UK version. Overseas, it was always a fundamental part of the game. But here, we still had instances as late on as 2007 where the lower tier questions were typically being locked in without 'Final Answer'. If you look at how quickly they accepted Naveen's £1,000 answer, there was actually potential ambiguity as to whether he wanted to play it or not. It's possible that he could have been about to say "I think it's Switchback, Chris... But I'm not certain, so I'd like to ask the audience.". But they just BAM, took his answer immediately. It's funny how we didn't really have 'Final Answer' as a rule at all in the early days. But the US version picked up on how often Chris Tarrant asked it, decided to make it a requirement in their show, then we were kind of forced to use it more strictly because it became a signature phrase and rule of the franchise worldwide.

Also I thought this format would work to begin with but then I realised it wasn't going to last that long you only had about two or three easy questions
Yes, will be very soon. I have just run out of episodes from those series. So just waiting to record more to fill in the gap and carry on from where I left off.

Don’t really get the decision to use a powerful lifeline when he could of 5050 especially when having an idea of what the answer was
