Hey Bryan, thanks for the review, I just ordered this scoot couple days ago along with the hiboy s2 pro, will be very interesting testing these 2 side beside, the majority of my riding area I intend to ride will be level and I'm 61 and deal with nuropathy in my feet so seven to 10 miles May be all I care to ride at a Time anyway, I will just have to see once I get the scoots, and also I have read that the distance should get a tad better after a few charge and discharges on the batteries, I hope at least, 😊😊😊
the hiboy has a seat option, it works well but is a little to expensive at 85 bucks, i made a video on it
I don’t really understand why the main complaint is the battery. I honestly feel so lucky that mine can usually go around 16 miles on 15 mph average and 12-14 miles on 20mph average. I think lots of batteries are faulty and some people just tend to get better scooters than other people. Great review!

I was seriously considering this for purchase to run my dog in safe areas. I live in the parks and the hill climb was and is very important. Do you have another recommendation as a good option?
Yeah range seems to be the big issue with electric scooters overall. The funny thing is I only spent $300 on a Phoewo Scooter. 250 W motor and I am getting on average 14 miles per trip. I found that the battery is actually getting better as I use it more.
Can you review the Yadea KS5 Max Scooter? It's about $540 on Amazon. It's pneumatic with dual fork shocks on the front! Also comes in nice colors!

I have the same scooter and I have no complaints about the battery and range. I consistently get 20 miles on a full battery which is more than enough. Did u get 350wh battery or the 500wh battery in it? I also think rider weight affects the scooters range a lot too.
I'm 145lbs - in Florida I can get ~18 miles of range going full throttle. On hills, it drops to ~12-14 miles. Kickstart/double throttle is annoying. I do like it more than the S2pro, however. S2pro (no front suspension on solid tires) = jarring ride. Hiboy service has been great, btw. Replaced the front fork (no cost to me) after 500 miles when the anti-rotation bolt sheared off. The hiboy seat is a unicorn.

All true. I commented on your last video that my scooter was ok thankfully but wouldn't buy another one because of all the problems. My battery is now having problems also. Too bad nice scooters.
They all run great out of the box, get 50 miles on it and see what happens
Actually for that price range you can get a ninebot Max .They have great range proven great range. I’m looking for that one as my neck scooter to be honest.
This is a 500$ scooter you won't find a ninebot max under 800 maybe 750$ totally diff price category

@@tdrdronesebikesandscooters8377 it's pretty much the same scooter but with 17.5ah LG battery instead, granted I weigh under 150lbs and I'm not gunning it all the time, have you tried a range test going just over say 10mph on average? Perhaps that's not fast enough for you, I don't know, but it will definitely maximize your range, I'm curious what kind of speeds you're going on average to get only 9 miles etc. Don't get me wrong I like to cruise at top speed once in a while but it's definitely going to kill the battery way faster doing that, which you're probably aware of already, I'm personally totally fine with cruising mostly at slower speeds on average, enjoying the scenery and maximizing my range. Also how much do you weigh approximately? These things matter a lot
Also like someone mentioned, Tire pressure is important as well, not saying you don't take care of these things as you probably do but it wasn't mentioned
@@bedeesey Everything is always checked before i make a video, battery charge, tire pressure, wheel bolts and stem lock, i do not want to get stranded out on one of those trails and walk 5 miles home

I agree with you about the mileage that thing can't get least twenty miles and I definitely do a big pass on that but when I got riding I always like to ride for distance oh yeah I like the Press old geezer comment
Seems like your brakes might be too tight and are rubbing on the rotor. That would explain your low mileage and excellent braking. My brakes don't work that well but I get at least 15 miles on L2 and I'm 200lbs.
That battery life that seems very low. Are you sure the tires are inflated properly? Because that seems extremely low for that scooter I’ve seen other people review it and get more miles from it I wonder what is with that scooter specifically?
Everything is checked before i go for a long ride, i don't want to get stranded in the middle of nowhere

Nice review, dang please don't ever do that again struggling to lift something like that up with your shoulder that was a real struggle for you to lift, that is a easy way of getting your shoulder hurt. trust me I know I lifted weights for 30+ years. I don't want to see you get hurt.

The battery life would kill this for me too. They advertise 25 miles and you got 7 and 1/2 miles on one particular run... that is BARELY enough for me to take a ride to the small grocery store in my very small town and then get back to my house. 25 miles must be with someone who is light as a feather and with absolutely no uphill terrain.
I Think nobody was riding it, with these electric bikes and scooters you can set them on milk crates and turn on the throttle and cruise control and the motor will run and the tire will spin and the odometer will turn, see, battery test with no rider= 25 miles of range

definitely not. I had it for a yr and because of the solid tires the scooter broke down fast and screws got lose alot often and bar stem gets very lose. would not recommend

Terrible!!! I've been comparing this and the Hiboy pro and it seems like a no brainer especially with the Hiboy being a tad cheaper as well! Even the next model up with Gotrax the "40 mile range" doesn't even hit 20 😆🤦♂️
