Michael Steele is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen and I agree with people saying that she is an amazing bassist, guitarist, and singer". Her voice is amazing! She has a big, beautiful voice. Her face is like a masterpiece of a great artist and a creation of God. Does she know how beautiful she is?!? I wish she had a daughter or son that looks like her but I heard she has no family of her own....

They also let Micki, on this very show, state that They were planning a "big summer extravaganza" for the following summer. And then the rest of the band refused to do it later on. They basically did not do what they told Micki they would do. Instead, they continued to do "mini" tours.
I would have loved to see them continue where they left off like Michael wanted. But the other Bangles had other priorities, being mommies and such. Totally comprehensible and I respect that, but I miss the complete group.
Michael appears to be turning her back on the rest of the group slightly. Was gutted when she quit the band :-( Seen them live as the original line up and met them two days in a row, then again with Michaels replacement last year. Abby was good but Michael rocks!
@@josephrivett6158 In my opinion, there are singers that need to go solo, because they are bigger than their groups. Diana Ross and Michael Jackson come to mind. But there are others that are in a group that contribute as much to that singer's success as the singer to the group's popularity. They must stay with the group. Freddie Mercury with Queen and Susanna Hoffs with the Bangles come to mind. By coincidence, or by modus operandi, it was CBS records that told both Freddie and Susanna that they "didn't need the rest of the band". Both Freddie and Susanna realized their mistake later on and were humble enough to admit it. That's why we love Freddie Mercury, and absolutely adore Susanna.
Susanna is not the type of person who would upstage the other girls, it was the media and record company management that gave her the unwanted attention, I believe this would have been very stressful for her, seen many interviews and she is very down to earth and humble, ❤
I read that she wanted a full time approach to the group's promotional work but the others had family ties and were unavailable. Maybe part of the story.
Check out the (uncomfortable) laugh from Michael and then Vicki when Susanna says "so now we have lives". The implication being that one has to be married with children in order to have a "life"? I can just see Michael sarcastically thinking the same thing to herself.
I don't think Susanna meant any disrespect towards the other members of the band with her comment, nor did Vicki and Michael feel unconfortable with it. If there were any frictions, they would never have gotten together again. And anyone that knows Susanna knows how family oriented she is, and how respectful she is of others. She comes from a very conservative jewish upbringing. And it's true, every woman, and every man has a different perspective on what is "having a life". To some it's family, to others it's career, and others it's just having a group of very loyal friends.

Charlotte Davis-Browne they couldn't replace Michaels' talent. Her fill ins were just adequate at best. The band was never as good without her.
