I always wonder if this Man Franco was a human being.......no one shall ever match this legend..... RIEP wuod Makiadi. Let it be known to my generations that I was here appreciating Le Grand Master
In Kimpa Kisanga meni, this was my concern that " journalists owe us an explanation for a candid interview with Franco on his music choice, style, instruments assembly etc". How did he make it seamlessly that he commanded us through the instruments and voice at the same time !
During the match,Gor mahia vs Dragon in 1987 and Gor were navy blue long sleeve shirt the song was playing again and again ., great memories bravo Franco and ok jazz
Ujana ni moshi!.That we are only left with memories of years gone by, including memories of those we used to listen to such inspirational music with though we never understood a word.May they countinue resting in peace. We value you though you are no longer here
this songs brings to me memories of the good old school days especially when travelling to my rural home with my Sony walkman clammped on to my ears..... nice
I first heard this song around 2009 in a pure rumba radio station program Christianed old is gold, the program did last for long but courtesy of it my love for rumba blossomed..
Childhood memories - still fresh. My late with friends would play this number again and again. As children we could only dance behind the building. Truly nostalgic
Memories strike vividly : Malage de Lugendo exploding with Franco and Madilu on this well arranged song. Long strides, highly recommended for long distance travel. In our hearts, you forever remain. Dr. Ogeto International
Year 1987 Nyayo National Stadium Gor Mahia vs Benin's Dragons this hit was playing. Wonder why they never play music before matches!

Yes. The 1st leg had tied 2-2 in Cotonou two weeks earlier. Dragon O’ueme were tough with Peter Rufai between their posts, Abedi Pele in midfield and Rashidi Yekini on their attack, but Peter Dawo was too much for them and Gor Mahia won this return tie 3-2. Rufai couldn’t believe and wept uncontrollably. Later, at the World Cup in USA 1994, Rufai and Yekini would lift Africa high with Super Eagles of Nigeria, having become CAF Afcon champions earlier in the year.
Now I miss my friend Louis Otieno not the famous one though.. Our dear Malage De Lugendo spiced this song including Celio, Ida and Testament ya Bowule. My childhood was great❤
I might not know what tey are singing about but this arrangement of instruments and the they seem to talk to each other. no musician dead or alive can replicate greater than the beetles hand down
I love Lugendo's vocals, Franco's raspy voice and rapping(talking on the song) and Madilu's unmistakable voice- so Madilesque if I can use that word- so Madilu System.what is the guitarist's name- that's pure talent there. what's his name please
Ekaba comes from the verb kaba, which means to share. Ekaba is said of a person who likes to share. Here it's about a lady trafficking a friend of her and being jealous of her

We should listen to this number, under our historical tree.
This song was always played in one club in Mombasa by one DJ nguema nobody could leave the floor even if it is over.
This song may be 15 minutes long, but those 15 minutes are pure gold, the heavy kick drums, toms and snares are brilliant!
Exactly, the greats of the old good days.
