@colettejaques2559 I absolutely would do whatever I had to within humanly possible to save any animal. I would jump in the freezing water to rescue them if need be. I can't see animals in any kind of distress. If I ever won the lottery I would need an island for all my rescues....lol.

He loved being a firefighter & teaching the school’s about fire safety & when no one wanted to jump out the window into the net for the demonstration, he was always the one to volunteer. I later learned that he stole the boots of a fellow firefighter to stop him from going back into a burning building & my dad took his place. This man said it saved his life (as somehow he’d inhaled too much smoke.) That is the nature of firefighters! 😊 im so proud to have had him as my father! {He once even took me down the fire pole! A fun highlight of my young life!}
