- I've been working on a rather long and ridiculous challenge in Stardew Valley off-stream and decided it might be fun to stream some of it for a little extra variety! I'm aiming to complete the Community Center without gaining XP in any skills or using the Traveling Cart whatsoever. A familiar challenge if you've been around for a while, but now with a heck of a lot more game knowledge, strategic options, and... digging through the trash. Yoba help me.

Which makes this both new and upgraded for 1.5 AND 1.6

@@Elliot226 at the point in the vod I reached, argon actually mentions the OG video was 1.3! I think it is 1.5 and 1.6 that gave us the most changes in updates compared to 1.4 regardless
Ugh, my wisdom teeth... old Navy dentist in the 80s. Refused general anesthetic - until we were 14 shots of novacaine and 2 hours in. Then he was grumbling that he should have listened to me. He left bone chips in there, and refused to follow up. Took me 2 weeks to be able to eat solid foods. But all my other military dentists were great!
If I want to grow bulbs outside, I put them in the fridge. They need really cold days to help them germinate, and we rarely get to freezing here.
Really just getting left in the cold by your streaming schedule this week… or more likely my work schedule

When you switch to 1.6, do you have a plan to deal with the new Willy cutscene? I was trying out a 1.6 low% route and I had to reset after the first month because Willy starts showing up at your house to give you an entire fishing level if you don't have one yet. So far the only way I can avoid it is by just not getting my first bamboo pole from Willy, or by never leaving the farm in the morning unless it rains.
There is actually a workaround for this I learned about recently! If you eat something that gives you a fishing buff before going into that cutscene, it'll play out as normal, but you won't receive the level, and Willy won't show up again afterwards. The most accessible food for this in my experience is the Trout Soup you can buy from Willy's Shop, but anything that gives a fishing buff will do.
Please timestamp when you explain the challenge or just reveal it in the description or title rather than tease it... it's easy enough with modern watching habits to miss a brief run-down and hate to be 5.. 10... 30 mins in and have no clue what I'm watching. Thanks!
