I got the Axis pro stick I really like how light it is. I also didn’t like how I didn’t get a lot of grip on it but I put some grip tape on the stick and I like it way better then my 3s pro
I loved the grip on the Premier line of sticks and had high hopes for the Axis line. I have to agree with everything you said about the stick, amazing blade, super light, nice and snappy...just a terrible grip.
I like how Kasimir K customizes his stick for grip. Have you ever tried that before? Although not sure how that would effect your stick handling abilities.

Corey Crawford curve looks like a U....Cause when you think it's going to go one way like playing for the Devils, it goes the complete opposite direction like retiring. Like the bonus video despite me never using this in my life.

Trav, I got the CCM Axis pro stock almost a month after it came out. I’ve been in love with it ever since. Unfortunately it is starting to chip but I still love it. Excited to see what u think of it tho

Interesting. You could try to modify your stick like Marc-Andre Fleury by putting a notch into the paddle. Your index finger can wrap into the notch so you don't have to rely on the the grip material on the stick.
Hey Trav. Great content and videos. A question, why do you place your block so far down the paddle? To me it looks like a puck or stick could still get in there. Also, do any pro goalies use these or are they league prohibited 🚫?
Hey Trav, you ever try the mod where you create a hollow in the paddle for your finger? heard it gives you a better grip and finger placement. I've wanted to try it but couldn't bring myself to do it to one of my sticks.
Wow. Based on what I've heard and the reviews I've seen it wasn't a recommended stick as it would break so easily. I'm impressed it lasted this long for you.

I have a 1.9 cause i wanted to try it before i used it. I had an eflex 4 but hated it because it flexed too much and i needed a stiffer stick for shooting. Looking to get an axis if our season down here starts
I have a premier 2 stick with the stick tack grip and I love it. It goes up the back of the shaft so you get better grip while puck handling and it is a game changer

The reduced weight for a stick that will not shatter when blocking hard shots and last for a long time is worth the price. We goalies hold that stick with only one hand most of the game. And we do play the whole game. ;)

350 for a stick just way to much for a goalie stick. Goalies well never see the performance like a players stick would.
