honestly, sheldon in bbt was always more appealing to me than in young sheldon. I really, really, really hate his disrespectful way of "being himself" (with strangers and even more with his family). Sheldon can be disrespectful in bbt too, but that seems to be rarer and not that pronounced

@@ColJack100 honestly TBBT if u watch all the episodes of every season Sheldon was more of comical character who had savage replies and had many emotions moments... Especially when Amy came he became more understanding....
Ofcourse not toooo understanding because it's just hopeless to keep to much emotional expections from Sheldon 😅... But still older Sheldon had friends and i think that was the best part because they made him realise things and roasted him tooo .. so it balanced out....
Young sheldon is more ignorant to his surrounding ofcourse i guess as a child social skills must be worse especially when u Don't havr many people to relate too...
Though the showrunners deny it, Sheldon definitely has Asperger's Syndrome. He's not intentionally trying to be a jerk to everyone. He cares about people's thoughts and feelings but doesn't really know how to express that to them.
@@geetargatohaving Aspergers I agree. When he was talking about what he was thinking after their dad died, he clearly was thinking full well about his father, but worded it to the point where it sounded like he only cared about Star Trek. When it was actually about his dad.

@@kingcrimson3882 It wasn't a class on relativity or a class on QM but a class on PDF harmonic solution techniques. We were just told "this is the relativistic QM Klein Gordon eq" and had to solve it as a harmonic pdf
