I like how this turns from a simple gag video of a bunch of dudes farming trade server points to a whole end-of-the-world scenario where a crossfaction gang who are constantly on the run are tearing threads in the space-time continuum as a byproduct of their money laundering and a dude has made it his life goal to stop them while facing conflict with a dear friend who's thinking of joining the gang's cause
You don't need all the two pyros, the engineer, and the spy in the same place. You could have the spy putting sappers alone in one very hard place to find by himself, and have the two pyros and engie wherever.
There is another way to grind a lot of points on this map. In the center the Headless Horseless Horsemann spawns. You can farm uber off him with the ubersaw and vaccinator and spam uber a bunch. Each uber is 5 points.
I once found a variant of the point system, where you could build Standard Sentries, switch to the Gunslinger, and earn your points for building your Sentry, but not lose points for the Sentry being destroyed for switching to the Gunslinger.
I once found a hightower server with sentries disabled. Basically, if you tried building a sentry you wouldnt place anything and wouldnt lose any metal, but you still got points for building sentries.
it wouldn't be as engaging if they weren't constantly the prey. if it weren't for them having to run and find different places, it would be a very boring video. someone has to be the villain
Everyone is giving bugs shit, but like one comment said every good story needs a villain. Would the video have been nearly as entertaining if it was just 'I hit away sappers for 3 hours? If blue&co wanted that, they'd have just came back to the server at a less populated hour and did it then. Just because blue&co made mild jokes at their expense doesn't mean everyone here has to gang up on 'em as if killing on a trade server is a dramatic character flaw.

Blue, I want you to know that i live vicariously through your videos. When I was in middle school back in 2012, I constantly played TF2 from the moment I got home to midnight. My greatest joy in life was playing on community servers and just goofin' around with my friends and playing MVM after that came out. in either 2013 or 2014, i moved out into the country and haven't had good enough internet to play... really, any online game since then. I've wanted to do nothing more than play some TF2 again but I cant most of the time, except for the rare nights the internet is good enough for me to play with less than 200 ping. watching your videos REALLY helps me scratch that itch when I can't, and I can't thank you enough for the content you put out.

Years ago I found simillar thing on a CS:S server I used to play. You got 36 points for rescueing 4 hostages, or 25 for bomb explosion/defusal. Although I didn't use it because when I found out I was already top 2-1. Btw, these custom minecraft maps terrify me. The scaling is blatantly wrong. I know the issue, there's 32x32 grid, which so happens to be highlighted, and mappers decide to use it. But don't use it. Don't be so ignorant to the fact it mismatches player size. In games like HL2, CS:S, GMod, use 40x40. TF2 has different size, which also varies, so I recommend using 48x48 (which also follows 8-unit grid, which I love).
@@Penguin-1966 would be cool if airblast lasted longer but had to represurize like the DF, and it could also reflect bullets, kind of like Genji from OW.

The red tape recorder is good for spamming against teleporter, since the buildings can't rebuild fast enough and the buildings get downgraded until they unbuilt themselves.
