"I want to make the bad man fly, mommy!" You triggered a fond memory of a tv show. Which then triggered the memory of Season 8 of said show. Please do not trigger me, Dwyrin my man 😛
Love all your videos Batts!! I’ve noticed recently some of the Back to Basic series have been a little bit more aggressive! Or maybe you’re just not explaining as much as you used to why the moves are basic
Dwyrin, I enjoy watching your games. Thanks for teaching us. As a kyu player, I never enjoyed playing people that are much worse than me. I liked playing people that were better so that I can learn better. I was wondering why you play so many players that are not as good as you.
To help give others ideas on what they may need to work on to improve vs X rank. If i only played 7 and 8dans there would be a ton of moves youd never see let alone consider how to think about how to respond to said moves that you would see in your own games.
@@PiratDunkelbart I haven’t ever played on kgs, I’ve just started recently. I have noticed that there are several videos of game on KGS on Dwyrin’s channel, which is why I’m asking.
@@croakertheannalist3457 So to say: the early 2000s were a different time. Chatting by typing was a new thing and basically every plattform was overflowing with conversations. And KGS was the biggest place for Western players to interact. Free teaching lessons from 2ks or 2ds with mics, as you were recording from the moon, were given regulary and all the good stuff. But for several reasons KGS died and now its hard to even get a game at all. Also chat died too, so you are better of on fox. The chat is non existent there too, but at least you get games withing seconds. If I could chose I would have the 2000s back again, no question, but sadly this wont happen. The best you can get is probably reddit, but its not the same thing.

As a KGS 2K I approve the title of this video.

At 24:39, B playing double atari wasn't good enough! Oh, yes it was!
i mean he lived, but he gave up a ton...
Is there a reason you don't typically play on KGS? I thought that it was a popular server.
So, you havent played on KGS for 10 years yourself I guess? :D

@@croakertheannalist3457 KGS used to be THE western server, but over time it just died.
